This place was BEAUTIFUL and was so close to all the activities we had planned. The outside of the home was perfect for the nice weather we had. 100% will be back!
Overall very nice stay with great amenities! One member of my group got there early, we asked for him to be allowed in early, they said yes but unforunately he could not get into the house. There was no cell service at the house so he couldnât reach out to anyone. That sucked, but everything else was awesome
Our book club hit the road for a weekend and we couldn't have been happier! We plan to make it a tradition and stay in the same house, as it was perfect for our needs, as well as clean and beautiful!
We visited in March, so it was very quiet around the home! The spaces were perfect for 8 ladies. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor porches. The kitchen was nice equipped, but the ice maker wasnât working.
Beautiful house! Very clean and modern with the right amount of lakeside touches. We loved the layout for three couples. We all had a private space. Great communication with the host. Easy check in and check out. Easy access to local attractions. Highly recommend!
Our book club has been together for 21 years. Each October we go away for a weekend. This year we came to Deep Creek Lake. The house was perfect for us. It was roomy, cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed time on the dock, on the back porch looking at the lake and in the Hot tub. It was awesome!
Home is beautiful and the layout was perfect for our family. The large deck outside that was partially covered was perfect for evening meals. Lower level had plenty of room to spread out. Staying in the cove as very peaceful. Loved being close to the state park and the privacy was nice. The property management (Red Barn) was amazing. Followed up with pre check in, after check in, middle of the week email and great checking out instructions. This was a hard vacation to leave. Would rent again in a heartbeat. Thank you,
4 couples (8 people) have been picking different lake house trips twice a year (spring/fall) and this by far was the best one yet! Each couple had their own bathroom which is very important to me so everyone can have privacy and space to get ready for the day. We enjoyed the property on the dock, in the hot tub, played yard games, and of course the awesome pool table/tv room downstairs. We went to Wisp and did a fun escape room then road the mountain coaster that was an unespected treat. We did quizzo Thursday night at Mt. State Brewery, hiked an awesome waterfall, etc, etc.
I hope to make it back with family so they can experience the fun and luxury of a beautiful home.
Thank you for having us.
Great location; great communication; pretty clean.
Only comment for improvement would be the beds- supports were not secure and pretty firm.
Couple of suggestions provided for consideration- but overall good time.
Four friends from different parts of the country came together for three days of remote work and relaxation in the evening. The house was perfect in every way. For the first time in years we can say we would return. The house was worth the journey!
This home lives up to the hype! Everything was as described and it was gorgeous.
If I could recommend one improvement it would be for the mattresses. Every mattress in the house was as hard as a rock which made it nearly impossible to get a good nights sleep for all of us. Maybe even some mattress toppers would have done the trick.
All in all the house was clean, plenty of amenities and right on the lake. If the mattress situation gets taken care of we found the home on Deep Creek Lake that we will always go back to.
Wonderful amenities and enough room for us to spread out, yet the common areas and outdoor spaces were conducive to small group closeness. We will be back next year!
We stayed here with a group of 10 women. The house is fresh and clean with modern appliances and amenities and well stocked with utensils and kitchenware. The layout was perfect to accomodate our size adult group with mostly king beds in all the rooms and plenty of bathrooms to share. We were able to fit all ten of us around the table for dinner. More than ten adults would have made dining and sleeping arrangements a little snug. There is a hallway fouton and a bunk that would work well for children. The bunk is best suited for one person due to a low ceiling on one side. The outside decks were wonderful with plenty of seating and areas for dining. The hot tub was immaculate and very easy to use. We loved the firepit and appreciated how well lit the exterior steps down to it were at night. This location on the lake can't be beat with very little boat traffic and in a no-wake zone. Like most homes on the lake, the lot is sloped. Be prepared for a driveway and yard that are on the steep side. Once you're at the water, launching kayaks, etc is a breeze from the shore or dock. There is also a super cute and convenient store for snacks, ice and firewood right at the end of the street. Highly recommend a stay here!
