The wifi in the hotel reminds me of 1998 and the ataff refused to accept there was an issue. My decice, my wifes device and my laptop had the same issue SLOW. In the lobby, in our room and in the business center. I even woke up at 3 am-5:00am and same issue. It took 15-20 seconds to open up a page to read the Guardian news. I could not do online banking because it would time out after 1-2 minutes on the login page so i had to go to mcdonalds to transact. The staff lied for 3 days rhat they had no complaints and told me i had to call THEIR provider. So so bad for $600 per night.

Everything is fine except that the front desk staff are not friendly, even rude, when we checked in the morning on December 23. I stood in front of one female staff for more than 10 mins apparently wishing talking to her, she pretended not seeing me. After checked in the afternoon, I found that the safe did not work, and contacted the front desk, they promised me to fix it in 5 mins, but did not show up for two hours. The check-in experience was bad, which was very different from our first stay during Nov 28, and 29. The hotel is a good one, but the front desk staff working on Dec 23 morning are ruining its reputations.

A well-appointed hotel, Great location with easy access to several forms of public transport - trains, light rail and ferries. An easy walk to the shopping heart of the city, The Rocks and Circular Quay. It is a standard high-end hotel and feels more suited for the business traveler. I enjoyed my stay.
