Bed was comfortable, staff very friendly, huge self service kitchen, supermarkets round the corner and the blue Mountains national park, walkable also has good transport, great long and short hikes with amazing scenery.
Pros: Large kitchen area for families and groups to eat. Bathroom & bedroom were clean.
Cons: Unfortunately we had a sleepless night because of the heavy loud doors. From our bedroom, we could hear every time someone in the hallway opened and closed their door at night. This was pretty unavoidable as there is no way to quietly close the doors to every room/shared bathroom.

Very friendly people and very welcoming, beautiful, but cleaning in open areas and services toilets, sticking floors and need more attention and more maintenance required, sorry but is main opinion
We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom and it was great for a cheap price! Nothing flashy, but had everything we need. The social areas of this hostel are really good, and the kitchen is well stocked. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay close to Scenic World or 3 sisters (30 mins walk)
This is a very good hostel in a convenient location. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. The hostel had everything I needed. The buffet breakfast was also good value.
I like the YHA as an older person. I have traveled on my own my last 2 visits and I enjoy the communal space you don't feel isolated. Hotels are to impersonal.
