Great Weekend away

Fabulous stay at Hotel Bondi. Great position right opposite the beach. Convenient parking. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Comfy beds, great water pressure.

I booked 2 nights here. After reading the reviews, I requested a quiet room not on the street side. When I arrived, I was given a street side room. It was ridiculously noisy all night, as if I was sleeping on the street- constant vehicles, people downstairs at the bar, and banging noises in the hotel. I booked another hotel and checked out early. When I requested a refund, the staff asked if I would like to speak to the manager, who was sitting near her. He quickly refused to speak with me and she informed me there were no refunds. Really terrible experience and not how I wanted to spend my last day in Sydney, exhausted, out a lot of money, and searching for another place.

No frills hotel offered affordable accommodations in a location that can’t be beat. Read some complaints about noise from the bar downstairs at night. Maybe it’s because my room didn’t face the street, but noise wasn’t an issue for me, even being right next to the elevator. My room and bathroom were clean and housekeeping was efficient. Had booked a second room, the reservation for which they lost and then ultimately found only after we paid for a non refundable room at another hotel. All in all, a decent stay. Would stay here again.

Hotel Bondi is a delightful location it has historical significance as it was established in 1919. The high ceilings and beautiful craftsmanship are very pleasing to the eye. Although it is centrally located in a very busy area the rooms are quiet, clean and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and are eager to assist. If you get a room with a balcony overlooking the beach it is very enjoyable to watch the world go by below. Excellent stay at a most excellent hotel. Good on ya!

Great place to stay, front and centre at Bondi Beach. Refurbished rooms with modern amenities, in a building with old world charm, built in 1919. Helpful friendly staff, for the location and price I don't believe you could do any better. Look forward to our next stay. Excellent accomodations.

Great little hotel right on Bondi beach. Room was fab had everything you would need and nice and clean, bed and pillows great. Huge balcony over looking the beach. The only possible negative would be the socialising downstairs but ear putty is provided if you don’t like to hear people having a good time. I would absolutely stay here again ! Thanks for a great stay 😁

Everything as expected such as easy, friendly check-in and out, budget room was clean, had everything needed. Some noise but that's due to a great location in the centre of the area. Nice shared balcony areas with beach views for those without their own.
