Horlick is the perfect place to stay if you have a function or business around The Grounds. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is modern, comfortable, clean, quiet and well equipped. The bed was lovely to sleep on. You are literally a 2 minute walk to cafes and eateries and close to functions.

Female Solo Traveller and gave this property 10/10 for being located in a safe area and within walking distance to the grounds coffee factory that offered excellent dining options, IGA for snacks etc, and a train station that takes you straight to the city within 10 or so minutes The hotel feels boutique so almost glorified Airbnb , no loud banging or late night talking etc - the room itself was 10/10. Luxury and new feel.

Our stay at Hoteloco was a reasonable one - despite some very unclear check in conversation on arrival where we were left standing in reception alone while staff vanished for ten minutes. The location is convenient for surrounding suburbs/theatres/sports, the room comfortable and clean. We had an accessible room - and while it had great wide spaces and a functional roll in shower, many things (like a ceiling high wardrobe space, glassware etc being above standing chest height, bathroom soap being above standing chest height - if you’re in a chair travelling alone you may have issues) left us feeling as if they had been an afterthought. Location was very quiet - we were on the back side so that may have been More why, but even in reception there was little to no noise from outside. It’s a lovely new hotel, and the design is clean and modern - although one questionable artwork in the hall gave us pause more than once during our stay. It’s a little on the more expensive side for where it is - central CBD is more budget friendly - but if you’re looking for a change this is a nice one. We hope to return and see how we go second time round - maybe just teething issues our first visit.

Great location right near a train station, the carriageworks dining options and supermarket. The room was very clean with all basic ammenities provided. Easy check in and out process. Great for business travelers.
