We stayed here 9 nights during the Womens World Cup. This was a great location next to bus, coffee shops and restaurants. The space was pretty good size. Be aware there are 9 steep steps up to the entrance and no hand rail.
Listing talked about two living spaces but that wasnât true, only one living space with 2 couches. We were able to seat 8 people to watch some games on TV.
Listing says 2 full baths, but the downstairs sink is shared with the laundry room.
Great closet space in each bedroom, with lots of rods for hanging up clothes but few hangers available to use them. Would have been a 5 star review if we could have hung up our clothes.
Bedding was comfortable and clean but mattresses were well used and lumpy.
Overall the kitchen and bathrooms were clean but they missed a few areas which I shared with them.
We had a lovely time in Forest Lodge. It was conveniently located. Very close to public transportation and some great restaurants and bakeries. It was a very lovely home and we truly enjoyed our stay.
There is a big tube in main bathroom but couldnât be used (not sure if itâs intentional), the sheets have sweat stains and smells, we had to wash it first before using it, also there are dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinet.
Other than that, the place is located in a safe neighborhood and walking distance to every thing
Beautiful terrace house in busy inner-suburban area
The Terrace is really well presented with interesting decor and comfy beds. The neighbourhood is very close to the CBD with lots of good places to eat. Weekday parking is difficult so be prepared for a bit of walking if you arrive by car.
The property was inadvertently listed as having 3 bathrooms. I assume that will be corrected shortly.
Overall I think this is a great property in a highly sought after area.
The property was very clean and had modern facilities. It was very comfortable and met all our needs for a family stay. Parking was a concern but we managed to find a spot each day.
