Gut: Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
The room was perfect for solo travel. The hotel itself is in a great location, close to the train station and buses that can quickly take you into the city or to the beach. Westfield is on your doorstep so super handy to get supplies or shopping, I found myself there most days.
I stayed for 8 nights and the room was only cleaned once despite me leaving the sign on the door everyday to request cleaning and when the room was cleaned the cups were changed but the spoons were placed back in the drawer as there was remnants of yoghurt still there. I’d also slept with damp hair and the pillow looked almost mouldy by morning which was strange.
I didn’t use the shared kitchen but as my room wasn’t cleaned I had food waste that needed disposing of so went to the kitchen to use the bin which was overflowing and attracting flies - more bins within the kitchen would be beneficial. The laundry room is an excellent addition however one machine was out of service, people don’t come back to collect their wash when it’s finished so leave it sat in the machine and the room is locked at 10pm so be careful as this happened while my clothes were in the dryer.
Despite few minor issues above, I’d definitely stay here again due to location and comfort. Loved the black out blinds and control panel. Recommend signing up to be a member so you can have an early check in which was so beneficial coming off of 23 hours of travel.
