Room was fine, but aircon was not working well in a 37c day, so contacted staff and offered us an alternative room for our 2nd night, which was wonderful! Also added some wine, cheese and crackers for the inconvenience, which was a very nice touch. The location is wonderful right in the heart of the Rocks district, very handy for cruise terminal. Didn’t get to use pool which looked nice.

I can only speak to the historic cottages at the front of the property (not the tower) but staying there was like stepping back in time. Historic accommodations in a historic neighborhood. Loved everything about it. Staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. Access to nearby shops, restaurants, and the cruise terminal couldn't be better.
Historic cottage #001, right next to the hotel's main entrance. You get the whole residence!

Foyer and lobby of the hotel look clean and well maintained. The pool area also looked clean and well maintained however we didn’t use it during our stay. The room was spacious with comfy twin bed as requested. The rooms are dated and could do with some TLC.

Absolutely spot on location for exploring Sydney with ferry trains and trams on your doorstep as well as restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were really welcoming and helpful. We stayed in room 608 with a harbour view and not sure you'd find a better view in Sydney for the money. Overall really great stay.

Had a 3 day stay. Excellent spot, so close to circular quay and city amenities. Room had an excellent view of the Opera house, except when cruise liners were in port, although they didn't stay long. Room was clean, although there was blue masking tape on the ceiling in the room entry, staff were very friendly and accommodating, bathroom was very dated, shower poor as water pressure was very poor.

Staff was wonderful but room was very dated and disappointing; nothing like the pictures on the website. Location was perfect. The "Harbour View" did not exist because large of large cruise ship. At night when the cruise ship departed we had a great view of the Opera House but the next morning there was another cruise ship.
