I have always choose the Rydges, however the Rosehill location is one I will never stay at again due to the noise from the road and the over soft bed. The staff were amazing at check in! 5 stars to them.

Staff were fantastic and the check in and check out process was so fast and easy. Let down by our room not have a cover for the quilt, it was just put in between two sheets, and then there was no actual “top sheet” between us and the “quilt cover”. Bed was fine but pillows were terrible. Nothing in the mini fridge in the room except some small milk containers for tea/coffee. Room is a little dated and it wasn’t easy trying to find information about wi-fi. TV wasn’t easy to use to get off the welcome screen. Only way to access the hotel information was scanning a QR code that would pop up for a few seconds in the tv welcome screen, then you had to wait for it to cycle through again (nothing physically in the room that could be scanned - had to use the tv). It was convenient, but it wasn’t worth the price we paid and feels like it was just missing things to make things easier for guests within the room.

The room was clean and suited our needs for 3 people. The pool and spa was great. Having the option of parking was great having to pay on top of our accommodation fee was not.

Avoid.

Aircon doesn’t work. No fan in bathroom. Cockroach in bathroom. Under sheet mattress protector is hotter than the sun guaranteeing a sleepless night. Bar was understaffed. Scrambled eggs for breakfast is like rubber and was left on every guests plate.

I generally enjoy staying at Rydges Parramatta, however in this instance there were few misses. 1. Lousy housekeeping: The room door was open at arrival, and the towel, pillow, bath mat looked someone used and just folded back. (Upon inquiring, I was given a different room). 2. Additional charge for unknown reason: I was charged $35 post checkout for an unknown reason. There was no invoice sent or a call to discuss anything. I will call to ask, but I shouldn’t have to.

Disappointing. Would not stay there again

It was so dirty. The carpet in the hallways looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months. We didn’t want to sit in the chairs because they had ,arks all over them so disappointed. I stay at Rydges in Melbourne and it’s always immculate..I was shocked at the sad state of this.
