A really lovely hotel in a great location and close to everything that we wanted to see and do (theatre, shopping, culture). Very clean with super, helpful staff. The building itself is really worth a tour - there’s history in its bones methinks! We had a deluxe twin and it suited us down to the ground - comfy beds and a good amount of space. Restaurants…We were unable to try the Japanese, as it was fully booked, but were directed to a restaurant not far away and it was great. We also had snacks and drinks at one of the (very) local eateries/ bars (the Charles I think it was called). Really nice bar with some interesting small plates to choose from. We heard that the Irish bar in The Grace was also excellent, but sadly didn’t have the time to try it. So in summary, I would highly recommend a stay here!!

This property was lovely. It is an older building but charming and very clean. We loved the old world feel of the marble stairs and wide expansive entrance. Our room was updated and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Very good hotel in convenient CBD location.

Pleasant stay in this good hotel in the CBD. The room was comfortable and well laid out. The bed and bed linen very comfortable. Cleanliness overall was good, a couple of small things could have been better. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent and dinner at Vapiano's restaurant and room service dinner were very good. Great location close to CBD shops and walkable distance from attractions such as Botanic Gardens, Hyde Park War Memorial, Australian Museum and Art Gallery of NSW.
