Good for Sydney Airport

This hotel is close to Sydney Airport, easily accessed by a shuttle bus (extra fee). It's good for a pre-flight stay, but not well plced if spending time in Sydney. Rooms and facilities are fine for a short stay.

Modern room, comfy big bed. Well priced. Has cafe on site, shuttle bus to airport available - $10 for domestic. Can walk to domestic T2 or T3 if want but takes about 23 min. Small supermarket across road. Also 12 min walk to Mascot woolies, train station and restaurants etc. Recommend Thai Thae for dinner, just around corner from woolies - great meals,and price.

Good location if needing a night before a flight out of Sydney airport. No food locations nearby. Never saw the restaurant open in the hotel but maybe i was there on off hours. Otherwise, good clean hotel.

Enjoyed our stay as we had an early flight the next morning. Only 2 complaints was the A/C would shut off during the night and have to be turned back on as the room became warm and stuffy and no vent in the bathroom

The Mascot Travelodge is a great place to stay before or after catching a flight from Sydney Airport. It's an easy 15-minute walk from the Domestic Terminal, so you save on the rip-off airport train stop. Getting to the Travelodge from Mascot Station is another easy walk, about ten minutes up the main road. Staff are friendly, it's quiet and you're able to walk to Mascot's main drag also, if you want to grab something to eat or drink the night before you leave. Alternatively, there's also a bar and restaurant the hotel itself. The rooms are clean and functional. I liked the little table and chairs, which allowed me to sit in front of the TV, watching the rugby league, relaxing before my big day of travel. I'll stay here again.
