The rooms are cutely appointed & clean, fun atmosphere, loved the free smores by the fire pit. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, & supported local people & businesses.
Property was very attractive. Loved the beach area on Lake Tahoe. Staff were all very friendly. Lots of extras such as wine glasses, ceramic coffee cups, full size coffee pot.
It was a nice room. I was on the third floor and there isnât an elevator, so make sure you get ground floor if you need accessible rooms. There was not an air conditioner, but there was a Vornado fan you could plug in which was plenty of air circulation. It was in the 30s to upper 40s at night outside in October and the room was insulated enough that it got warm. So we opened the door for a bit each evening and blew in some cold air with the fan and it stayed pleasant both nights we were there. Itâs a nice place to stay and Iâd happily stay there again.
We had the family apartment with a kitchenette which allowed us to cook some meals which was nice. The pool wasnât in service, but we did make use of the hot tub. The location was good. We just had to cross the street to get to the lake. Overall a nice stay.
I will now be coming to Cedar Glen Lodge as much as possible! I had the greatest experience, even though I arrived late they left my key in a lockbox with instructions as I spoke to the staff over the phone. My cabin was roomy, cozy, clean, and warm in October. I absolutely loved my stay!
Itâs a cute place, affordable and comfortable. The front desk person was efficient but very unfriendly. Maybe he was just having a bad day. We would definitely return.
