Staff was friendly & helpful, bed was a bit uncomfortable but ok for a short stay, construction on sidewalks made accessing train station a bit tricky but still doable.
I used this hotel on a business trip and it was great! Comfortable and clean facilities and easy access to public transportation. Close commute to Taipei if needed. Thanks for the great stay!
Excellent front room comfortable & spacious with the river view over the wetlands & mountain at sunset outstanding. Good Chinese smorgsborg breakfast. Six minute walk to MTR, south to Taipei, north to Tamsui for food, ferry, tourist shops, old streets, Red & Hobe Fort. We have used this hotel as a base to explore food, hiking, cycling but it is such good value it can be difficult to book as lots of locals use it.
Not too far from the Metro station. However, my room was on the street side, so thereâs certain traffic noise but not unbearable. The breakfast was very friendly for a vegetarian like me.
About 15 minutes walking from MRT station. Requested room on high floor with view, but was given room on 6th floor with 2 trees in front of window. Yes, there was still some nice nice.
Hotel collected parking fees first, but told us the parking is first come first served, and might be full. We saw only six or eight parking spaces. Hotel should improve in their parking system.
The view from the room is as advertised â a magnificent vista of the Hongshulin mangrove forest and Tamsui River! Very conveniently located by the Danhai Light Rail for easy access to Shalun Beach and Fisherman's Wharf. Sufficent breakfast buffet, but if you miss it there is a breakfast shop and 7-Eleven next door. However, the furnishings and facility shows their age: the rooms have thin walls, and the air conditioning smells faintly of cigarettes, probably from secret smokers in the past. The bathroom was also very dimly lit. Fortunately, the staff are all very courteous and attentive, making this a fair budget choice if you're not picky.
One of the worst places Iâve stayed. The room was ok but itâs probably the loudest hotel Iâve ever stayed in. Constant noise at all hours. 2 am people banging around, making all kinds of noise. People yelling at each other in the hallway. And the soundproofing is horrendous so it feels like youâre sharing a room with the entire hotel. How this place has any good reviews is beyond me, I couldnât sleep at all for the entire duration of my stay due to the noise from other obnoxious guests.
The room is great and comfy. The only thing I feel uncomfortable is when I start using the bathtub. When I clean the tub, I can clearly feel the the wall was not clean enough. Fortunately, I do have scrub sponge to clean it myself so I can enjoy the tub.(that's my main purpose to have this room)...
Another thing is they don't need to replace the towels... We're there only 3 days.... They can set up some rules to replace towels if they're on the floor or somewhere.
Also, the breakfast time is a bit too short -- we couldn't get up to enjoy the meal. Hopefully it can be until 10AM in the future. Just a suggestion.
