Tamarindo Condo

We had a great experience at this condo. Ours was on the ground floor so we could just walk out to hit the pool. The location is great as it is right in the main hub of shops and restaurants. We rented a car and there is parking right outside that was very convenient. The concierge service was great. They helped us with booking surf lessons, a waterfall hike to La Leona which I highly recommend, and a sunset catamaran cruise. All of the activities were top notch.

The condo was well-appointed with all that we needed, though we only used the kitchen for coffee and tea - no cooking. The furniture was very comfortable. I’ve stayed in Marapalo before and this first floor unit was so convenient to the pool that I didn’t miss a balcony view. The beach and excellent restaurants were all walkable. Great week in Tamarindo!!

This unit is in the condo building directly across the tiny street from the hotel. This area has a bigger nicer pool with plenty of loungers. The unit came with towels chairs coolers anything you would want for a beach day. Kitchen to stocked with anything you will need. Has washer and dryer aswell. The staff is friendly. You can walk to everything from this location. The super market is a block away very convenient. Walking distance to the best restaurants in town. You have the Mercadito right across the street has variety of food choices and full bar with live music on the weekends. Try Patagonia next door great steak house. The falafel house next door to La Oveja surf house also both amazing and walkable choices. I would definitely stay here again great for our family of 4.

I love Tamarindo

We make frequent trips to Tamarindo, the beaches and people are wonderful. This condo is nice and well kept but a little dated. Location is easy access to the beach and downtown.

Fantastic condo with unbeatable pool

Unit was incredibly spacious and exceeded expectations in every way from the high quality luxurious decor, well stocked kitchen, beach towels and chairs and oversized washer & dryer. The gigantic kidney shaped pool with swim-up bar is just steps from the back door and is far superior to the pool we saw at the Diria resort itself. The only improvement we can suggest is better communication with the property mgmt company who were unresponsive for the first day of stay when we had an issue with card keys and bands. This did not deter from the overall experience. Highly recommend!!

I arrive back in America and receive my final invoice and get charged $94 for lost linens. So I call them and they said it was linens from the closet, which we never used since we were only there 3 nights and kept everything in our suitcase. The lady then states she will send me a picture of the missing linen and Pillow. I’m traveling to america, why the heck would we steal their pillows, which my daughter and husband didn’t care for since they were large and not what we are used to. Also, the front bathroom was stopped up upon arrival & no one fixed. The unit ac stays at 72 and the master bedroom is warm. There was not enough bath soap for 3 people to shower and we had to buy some. I cleaned the entire place before we left since there was no instructions for departure. When I asked about the missing linens they said they trusted their staff. Well now that I’m in America, how can I go back and look for these so called missing linens. We had 3 bags and dang sure didn’t have space for a pillow and their linens. If you stay here, go through and take pictures of everything. I’ve been reading other travelers and they have had fraudulent charges after their check out as well.

Fabulous property!

We loved the first floor location of this property! Being able to walk right out the patio to the pool was a huge plus. Having beach access through Hotel Diria works out great. This kitchen is fully stocked with all you need. Excellent layout of the condo gives both bedrooms quiet and privacy. Will definitely return!

We had a great time. The only drawback was we couldn’t log into our Netflix account because the owner had it locked. Everything you need to cook your own food and save money on eating out.

Great location but unit needs updating and amenities

Diria complex is great. We have stayed here before in slightly nicer units. This unit needs some updating. Sheets were scratchy and pilly, many walls need painting etc. We asked for an extra set of sheets for my son to sleep on the couch and were told extra sheets didn’t come with the rental but they would make an exception (?). Power and water went out multiple times, not the fault of the unit but guests should be prepared.

Perfect Experience

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property over Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The building is ideally located in the center of Tamarindo. Having access to the Diria hotel pools is a huge plus. Full credit to the property management, Blue Zone, for doing a great job in making things as simple and easy as possible. Blue Zone also runs a travel service, so booking local activities can be handled from a single point of contact. Definitely not the cheapest option, but the white glove service is worth the extra cost. Big thanks to Kelly and Olber. For families wanting a relaxing stay in a beautiful location - this is the spot to go.

Great place and location!

We enjoyed our stay, the place was clean, with great AC and a clean condo. The pool was wonderful at the end of the day. All staff on site were very friendly. The beach was an easy walk, and we enjoyed having chairs provided, an umbrella would be nice to include but you can rent one at the beach. Having a washer and dryer was also nice as stuff takes a long time to dry with the humidity. The restaurants/market somewhat behind the condos was very convenient and had great food w/lots of variety. The only annoying thing was the people upstairs who sounded like they were moving furniture each morning around 6:30 am but we were up and that's not the fault of this unit. Bring bug spray!

Great Condo with a Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The pool was great and the location was perfect. The condo was well equipped and comfortable for our family of 5. We actually kept extending our stay because we liked it so much. We would definitely stay here again. The host company was also very quick to all communications.

Spacious and totally pristine condo. Ground level unit was super convenient for pool and beach with little kids. Very safe resort overall. And had an easy experience booking, communicating, and checking in. Highly recommended!
