Super vacances familiales

Super belle maison. Beaucoup d’espace pour toute notre famille de 5. La maison n’est pas en ville mais pas si loin. La route pour s’y rendre est un peu bumpy mais on se sent tout de mĂȘme bien en sĂ©curitĂ©. Nous avons vu des singes notre premier matin. C’était trĂšs impressionnant. La piscine est parfaite avec son cĂŽtĂ© creux et son cĂŽtĂ© patogeoir. Tamarindo est une trĂšs belle destination.

Fabulous place

Casa Ylang Ylang was the perfect place for our family of four plus one. We loved the design and layout, pool, and amenities. With it's perch on the hilltop it feels a bit like the coolest treehouse you've ever stayed in

Great house

Everything was wonderful. Clean, quick response when we had questions, pool and grounds were maintained while we stayed. An excellent location. Private yet very easy to get to everything in Tamarindo. Highly recommend.

This trip was great! The house is close enough to town that it is easy to hop into town, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing! The property management was great and their communication was excellent! This house was exactly what we needed!

Gorgeous Property

We had a wonderful stay. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and sweet bread + jam. The property is gorgeous and has an ocean view and a lovely patio for watching the sunset. We loved listening to the howler monkeys in the canopy. The property was as described and just right for our family. AC in the bedrooms worked great and kept us comfortable. No AC in the common areas. Plenty windows and fans, but it did get warm. The kitchen was excellent, and the house was furnished comfortably and with little extras like books and games to play. Lots of beautiful outdoor space so everyone could have their own little area for downtime. Communication with the property manager was excellent. He was on top of things and always responded promptly. Prior reviews about the bumpy road or no joke. It was rough and tumble with our four-wheel-drive. Not a bad drive, but definitely dusty and BUMPY. A short 8 to 10 minute drive gets you into town and a market is one of the closest things as you come and go from town, which is very convenient. Be aware that Tamarindo is experiencing a water crisis right now. We were told at check-in that water pressure might be low. The shower in the primary bathroom worked fine, but the secondary bathroom was a trickle. Definitely out of the property manager’s hands, but maybe something to be aware of. Overall would for sure recommend, especially if you’re looking for a quiet out-of-the-way place away from the fray of downtown.

Beautiful and close to town

We enjoyed our stay here so much. The pool was wonderful and it was nice to get away from Tamarindo heat spring the daytime. The host even had a sweet surprise of fresh rolls, jam and wine waiting for us upon arrival. The property management group was fantastic and quick to respond to questions. The road will require a 4x4 but wasn’t nearly as treacherous as some of the other CR roads we have encountered on our trip. Highly recommend this place if you want to be close to town but get away and enjoy your own privacy. Howler monkeys woke us up every morning!

Beautiful House

Perfect place. Except for the fact that RPM (the actual rental organisation) did not inform us about the building activities right next door. And did not reply on my emails regarding this. Not only the noise was sometimes annoying, but also the fact that the workers could look right on the terrace/pool area when they were working on the roof.

Relaxing and Quiet

The stay was pretty relaxing and quiet. There is a lot of large glass windows but the area is fairly private. Be sure to confirm the cleaning and landscaping schedule with the office for your visit. There were two scorpions that made their way inside the home. The kitchen and pool are lovely. The view is pretty peaceful and really gives the tropical paradise feel. Enjoyable villa for couples or small groups and families.

Family vacation!

Our family of 4 just stayed here, June 13-21st. It was absolutely amazing! The house is just as pictured, extremely clean, yard well taken care of and an amazing pool! They supplied plenty of towels for the pool and all the bathrooms. They even supplied enough toilet and paper towels for us! There is nothing bad about this house or location and 100% recommended for any family.

A Beautiful, elegant, perfect stay

This property is incredible. We (3 teens 13,15,18 included) were all so comfortable and happy with the location, the pool, and artistic design of the house. Absolutely gorgeous. This is the best place to relax and get away yet we were a short drive into the life at Tamarindo.

Near perfect

Great stay in this rental! The only drawback was that we did not have trash can liners available to pull trash daily as in Costa Rica it is necessary to dispose of all toilet paper in the trash and not the toilet.
