The bathroom was super tight, door blocked toilet and shower... very diffficult to physically move about... lighting was also terrible could barely see in mirror Overalll staff wasn't resourceful. Trying to get wine glasses or a wine opener was an absolute nightmare

The facilities were clean and well maintained. The team members were all very friendly and responsive. Breakfast offerings presented good variety and quality. Shuttle service between the hotel, downtown and beach was punctual and delivered in a friendly way. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the pool area and the views were beautiful. Every room has an ocean view which was a big plus. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the shuttle service was amazing and very convenient. The pool was never overcrowded which made it easy to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. On the downside, the wifi did not work for our entire stay, which was very frustrating. For a four star hotel, the rooms feel outdated and do not seem to have been upgraded in quite some time. The poor wifi was the biggest disappointment and really took away from the experience. Overall, great views and service, but the rooms and internet need serious improvement to match the hotel’s rating.

We had a wonderful stay at the Widman. Everything was very clean, and the staff was extremely professional and friendly. We ordered can service to the airport from a service provided by Wyndham at this location they put us in the incorrect cab service the guy tried to leave us on the side of the street because he wasn’t being paid since we had paid the guys at Wyndham we were scared I tried calling Wyndham multiple times to try and fix the situation and no answer only received email apologizing for the mistake barely made it to the flight after guy finally decided to take us to the airport

Staff professional and courteous. Food great at dinner off the menu and breakfast buffet. Service at dinner fantastic! ROOM - coffee maker never worked even after the maintenance guy said he fixed it. The AC was not working when I checked in. Had to allow the maintenance guy to come into my Room to fix it. Not acceptable at the rate paid. I asked for them to switch the coffee maker and they had no spares to do so - strange that they wouldn’t hav a couple on hand.

During my stay, I unpacked my backpack in my hotel room to remove a number of personals as we were heading to do one of the rainforest day tours. I left behind in my room my corporate iPhone, a pair of prescription eyeglasses and a pair of sunglasses. Had reached out to the Front Desk via phone and email numerous times without a response. They only responded almost two weeks later because I contacted Wyndham Corporate. The lack of communication for these coveted valuables is extremely unacceptable, especially over such an extended period of time, which is leading me to suspect that foul play is involved here. Be careful with your valuables here is my warning…..

Rooms were comfy and clean. Breakfast could be better, I think people expect bacon instead of hotdogs. Having free access to Langosta Beach club is great bonus. Breathtaking view.. but view in all of Tamarindo to watch the sunset.
