We are fans of this mixed residential/hotel model. The room was well appointed. The location was perfect for us, close to restaurants and a quick drive to just about everything. Only complaint… elevators and traffic lights are slow in Florida… soooo slow.

I had a wonderful stay at ROOST! It’s in the heart of Tampa, on the Bay. It was perfect, with lots of places for entertainment, food, and drink right outside. The Riverwalk was about two blocks away, which made it super easy to travel everywhere by foot. I’d recommend this to anyone planning a visit to Tampa!

The property is aesthetically pleasing, smells good and is clean. The front desk was nice. Greeted me upon arrival and checked me in quickly thankfully because the loading zone was full and my husband had to park down the street a bit. I was under the impression the receptionists would help with luggage (unloading and whatnot) since that’s what it said in the message I received before arriving. Would have been nice since it was raining and we were traveling with a 7 month old baby. They did offer me a luggage cart but that was after I had already come inside with all of our things so there was no use for it then. Also this is a very young crowd in the building. Would not recommend for families. There were people yelling down the halls all night and we could hear our neighbor snoring all night long.

Stay was great! Beautiful area and amazing facilities. Staff is friendly and accommodating. AC is extremely loud at night, had to wear earplugs to go to sleep. Remote to TV was broken. The shared kitchen and living room smelled like wet dogfood. It’s residents and a hotel. So it feels like you’re staying in an apartment complex versus an actual hotel. But overall, the stay was enjoyable. Four stars.

We’ve stayed at this property before and it was amazing. This time we had a dorm like room with a shared common space with kitchen and living room. And 4 bedrooms. Doors shutting were loud, felt like I was staying in someone’s house. For $300 a night wanted something a little more private.
