Arrival was easy with the smart lock on the front door, which was good because we arrived late at night. Thank goodness for GPS because the mailbox with the street address was laying in a heap next to the entry fence (in which the gate was tattered and hard to close). The inside was cute and looked nice. Liked that the kids each had their own bedroom, however, the doors to both of those rooms did not close properly and stuck to the jamb (making a very loud squeaky noise when opening and closing). Beds were okay; the mattress in the primary bedroom needs an update, felt like I was rolling to the center. Several other updates need to occur (replace shower curtain linings, repair the blinds that are falling off the wall in the main living space, the door jamb where the back door leading outside to the patio area closes is almost non-existent near the lock). The location is near Ybor city, 2 minute drive or 10-15 minute walk to the main area, so very convenient. Also, convenient to downtown Tampa. Ybor city is a great place to eat and get a few drinks so the location is nice. The ice-maker was broken, and, although the response was a little delayed, Chabu (the manager) was very accommodating to try and make the situation right. The outdoor space is neat and if the weather had been better we would have spent more time enjoying it. The walkway to the outdoor space is a little off-putting with a giant leaning cactus and mold on the house.
