A very convenient location just down the road from AELEC. Larger than usual rooms and the air con was already on so the room was lovely and cool on a very hot afternoon. We will definitely be staying again.

The exterior appeared dirty and messy. Needs some serious TLC. But the rooms were quite reasonable. Except the shower - the water was pitiful and the tile floor very slippery. The complimentary continental breakfast surpassed our expectations. So many choices and very well laid out. Thank you

The total cost of $380.00 for a single night’s accommodation was grossly disproportionate to the standard of the room provided. The room was extremely small, with a bed that was excessively firm and uncomfortable. The stay was further compromised by the motel’s location on a heavily trafficked street, which produced continuous noise, and by heavy overnight rainfall, which, given the roof’s low clearance of less than three metres from the floor, made restful sleep virtually impossible. While we acknowledge that AgQuip was being held in Gunnedah at the time, the tariff charged clearly reflected opportunistic price gouging, particularly as the same room is advertised at approximately $116 for the following week. This represents a near threefold increase for identical accommodation, a practice which is both excessive and unjustifiable. As parents who travel regularly to Tamworth for school commitments — a practice that will continue for at least the next six years — we are prepared to pay premium rates for quality, modern accommodation. However, in this instance, the standard fell well short of what could reasonably be expected for the price charged.

Unfortunately we did not stay the night as on arrival the heating unit was broken and the replacement provided was not suitable for the room size. The shower head was broken and could not be fixed. No-one was available on site to provide another room so we had to pack up and leave.

Unfriendly man at reception heck in wearing dirty shirt & reluctant to help request for early morning taxi but did. Old room & bathroom. Shower leaked constantly. No light in bedroom bathroom except for a broken wall lamp over bed which didn’t work. Unable to connect to wi fi on any of the suggestions given in a frame next to the bed. The bed was comfortable for a travel weary woman who had no sleep for 30 hours though
