My only complete is there were no local channels on their service. I asked the front desk, and he was really not sure and he thought maybe they didn't have but only cable channels.

I would never choose the La Fonda again in Taos. Room was very carefully cleaned but very shabby and the walls were paper thin. No amenities that enhanced my stay. Other than the first night at check-in, the staff I encountered unfriendly.

The people before us had a huge mix up with their rooms. Only one person working the front desk. Had to wait at least a half an hour for them to straighten it out. The front desk clerk had to keep going back to check with the owner of hotel. Owner never came out to straighten it out. Felt bad for front desk worker. Owner should have been more attentive.
