Absolutely loved this hotel!!!! It is spacious with a separate cooking area with stove microwave and refrigerator. The best part is the bathroom with a separate mineral tub to soak in. The water comes out piping hot so you need to add cold water to it. My favorite stay in all of New Zealand by far. There is a view from the lakeside units.

Good easy parking right outside the unit. Mini Kitchen had all that I needed. But I always take my own kitchen things, so it was a good back up to have. The staff were really nice and helpful. The room was clean. The only thing I had a issue was the shower was quite a step up to get into. I spoke to a staff member and he went out of his way and sorted a small ramp for me. To get up into the shower. As I have hip issues. I recommend this place and happy to come back and stay.

The family rooms could do with a bit more updating, also think of having a electric frying pan in the room, rooms should have clothes iron, hangers maybe a clothes airing rack by the spa bath and spa towels also tea towels. The share kitchen was short of utensils and other stuff. Also making sure everything is always clean and put away nicely and not just left in a box with dust building up

Parking was convenient. Kitchen was basic. No staff were on-site after 7pm. We asked for clean towels and came home at night to find the dirty towels still, even though we had been told we would have clean towels left. The room had not been serviced. Rubbish bins were not emptied. There were two doors. The door to outside would not lock from outside. The door that went into an inside passage was badly fitted and the room was not very secure. We had trouble with that lock too. The room smelt musty and I found it hard to breathe at night and did not sleep well. Sadly my clothes picked up the stale smell. The price per night was exorbitant for such poor quality accomodation. We will not go there again.
