Kind and lovely people, lovely chat and they really cared. Very much a spare room in the end of their house with a itâs own bathroom so very homely. Breakfast room was a breakfast room with lots of stuff and a cat (I loved the cat). Itâs down a very rough and rocky track in the car. Basically itâs an authentic working farm with some lovely farmers who make a solid breakfast. Iâd be back. If you are looking for a polished hotel experience this isnât for you but for a real life nice people supporting local go for it. Lovely and quiet in the middle of nowhere. Thanks folks. For that price, who can argue
Very welcoming farming couple who go out their way to make sure everything is OK. Fantastic wholesome farmhouse meals provided. Location is very remote and strongly recommend asking if you can view the old waterwheel during your stay (you'll need a torch!)
Only stayed for the night, friendly people who run it , nice big breakfast to start the day ,so good value for the money, if you are afraid of taking your car up narrow roads get yourself a taxi.
A warm welcome on a working farm - no nonsense, no frills just a comfortable, well-appointed room and a hearty breakfast. The drive up the lane is a bit hairy because there are few pulling in points should you meet traffic in the opposite direction but it's worth the risk - beautiful authentic setting, lovely hosts.
