Gorgeous stay on the lake

This is a gorgeous apartment style hotel on the lake with a stunning view, close to town and really comfortable. The host at reception was lovely and made a superb recommendation for dinner. The Fat Duck makes the best duck wontons!!! The room has the comfiest recliner chairs and was warm and cosy when we arrived later in the afternoon on a cold winters day. Definitely a great location and very nice place to stay. I also recommend the walk along the lake early morning to watch the boats go out.

Loved the space of the apartment (and separate loo). Everything we needed was there. It was warm, comfortable and tasteful. The setting on the lakefront is stunning. The flame lights in the garden at night were beautiful. All the underlayers on the bed were high value and made it super comfy and cosy. Really luxury.

This Motel was a fantastic place to stay. The view from the room was awsome. Amenities were great.The staff were friendly and helpful. The guest laundry is open 24/7. Washing machines free to use and the driers were really fast and efficient.

Newly upgraded unit, kitchen was well equipped, and towel warmer/rack was extremely efficient. Lower apartment meant that we could hear muffled vibrations from the upper unit so for light sleepers this could be an issue if neighbours are unruly. But luckily it was ok for us.

The unit was right on the main road into Te Anau. The unit was spacious, well-appointed, and had a great view of the lake. We walked into town on two occasions, and enjoyed staying “home” at the end of a busy day. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.
