Beautifully relaxing and great communication from host on check in questions. Portable mini fire pit on the patio would have been nice (itâs a long walk carrying firewood to the current oneâŠ)
We enjoyed our stay at this cute and cozy cabin. It was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It was relaxing to sit on the porch and look at the beautiful red cliffs. Lovely and quiet and still easy access to town and the park.
Peaceful setting with an amazing view! Everything went well. I suggest putting a queen bed in the cabin so there is some room for bedside tables and you don't have to crawl over the end of the bed to get in and out.
We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. The location is perfect for anyone looking for serenity. We enjoyed the calm, and the view from the deck. The inside is furnished in a way that shows the place is loved. It is very warm and inviting. The kitchen is fully equipped. We found everything we needed to cook.our meals. I would definitely stay there again.
We loved our stay at Cody's Cabin close to Torrey. This was our favorite, we stayed at three different towns as we conquered the Mighty 5..
I cooked meals every day, in the well equipped kitchen. The owner has thought of everything! My only complaint, the bathroom has a dormer that connects to the bedroom, there is nothing in it, no glass. So privacy is an issue.
What a Suprise, this is such a nice location. cabin so nice. I think the quietest place I have ever been. zero complaints. great A/C wall heater too. didn't need a fire place.
The cabin has so much potential! My husband and I stay in VRBO units several times a year and this is perhaps the first one that was slightly disappointing.
The place was very fun and offered great views. The only "issue" was we had to move some of the stored sheets and other items in the closets order to make more room for our own stuff. Also, the listing says that the river is on the property, when it's actually located across another property (we talked to that particular property owner who was very nice and told us we how to access the river). Didn't see a fire pit there either. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay.
We loved staying in this very efficient nicely updated cabin. The setting is in a lovely valley. The bed is super comfortable although there is not much maneuvering room around it but we just slid on and off the end of the bed. Great shower, comfortable sitting area, well equipped kitchen, good internet and nice big screen tv. I can see that the bedroom could get chilly in the colder months. Iâd read that and we took a small portable space heater with us which was nice to keep the chill out. The night skies are amazing. We would definitely stay here again.
Was a nice location with easy access getting to the arches, capitol reef and canyonland. Hiked tons. Never did figure out how to walk over to river. As a veterinarian was drawn to the horses, they are pretty far in the pasture.
Cabin is in an awesome location and is very clean and comfortable. The only negative we have is we were so disappointed that the fireplace is non operational. We didn't know until we received the check-in instructions about this. By the picture in the listing we were hoping for a fireplace to sit in front of on the 20 degree Torrey nights.
Enjoyed our stay. Very remote and quiet. A little chilly when the temps drop into the 20'S. Could use a secondary heat source in the bedroom.
Overall, a great place to stay.
My husband and I stayed here w/our 10 and 11yo boys. The location was secluded and quiet, just a 10 minute drive on a gravel road to the main street in town. There were excellent views of the stars at night and my boys were thrilled with the very friendly local cat that stopped by.
The cabin was cozy and very well-equipped. The bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept on in a rental (although my boys did complain about the pull-out couch) and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into maximizing the space.
The property manager was very responsive and checking in/out was easy. If you're looking for a fun day activity we highly recommend the horse-back riding tours w/Wilderness Ridge Adventures.
We had a great stay!! Good proximity to all the trails we wanted to hike. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. The cat was bonus, we really wanted to know where it belonged since it was super friendly!
This cabin was a brief drive to all that Capitol Reef National Park had to offer. It was up-to-date, comfortable, clean, and serene. We actually spent more time at the cabin than we expected because it was so comfortable and relaxing there. And yes, it does appear to have a little gray kitty keeping watch over the outside of your cabin. Such a sweet cat with nothing but good vibes. We absolutely loved the cat! That being said, if you hate cats, this is not the accommodation for you! This was our favorite stay over a two week western states trip. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin. So, so restful.
My husband and I stayed here to be near Capitol Reef. It is about a 20 minute drive to the national park. The cabin was in a beautiful and private location. The grey cat that lives on the property is absolutely sweet and sassy; she just wants love (and to get let in the house)! Keep in mind fishing is not allowed in the river on the property, but Cody was great with letting us know where we could go to fish.
