Mountain Village condo next to Poachers

Solid clean updated condo, walk out door to chondola, short ski to lift4 or 10. Clean, perfect for family of 8. Would stay again.Note Blue Mesa garage is short, no room for Thule on top of car, but easy garage storage.

Perfect family stay

This condo is the perfect place for your family of 5+ to stay in Telluride. The location in mountain village couldn’t be more central. The unit has every amenity you can think of. It seems brand new. Definitely staying here again during ski season. The hosts were super attentive as well. Can’t wait to return!

Superb experience

Our group of 5 stayed at Blue Mesa for the 2023 Telluride Film Festival. It could not have been much better. The location is perfect, so close to the Gondola and Chondola, several restaurants and breakfast places and last not least the Chuck Jones Theater (= the Mountain Village Conference Center the rest of the year). Modern top-notch interior. Very nice place. We fell in love with the pictures, and were even more amazed when we arrived. We had two cars, left one in the garage spot and never had any trouble finding street parking for the other. Communication in the beginning could have been better, but was great later, and when one member of our group had some questions and called the office, they were very kind and helpful. We had a spectacular time and I hope I'll be able to come back soon.

Poor communication but nice condo with great central location

The Good:- The condo is furnished with tasteful contemporary furniture - Beds/linens were very comfortable- Kitchen had all the amenities and utensils needed- Private parking spot in garage was convenient- Location is in the heart of Mountain Village making it very easy to get to the gondola, Village square and the local marketThe Bad:- So many flights of stairs! Nott disclosed- The code we were given to enter the condo didn't work. Calls/emails to the Host were not answered. We also tried the onsite property manager - also no answer from him. We stood in the hallway with all our luggage for 20 minutes before we got a call back. After several new code attempts, we got in- Once in the condo, it was very stuffy/warm. There were thermostats on each floor. The 1st floor thermostat seemed locked/unable to be adjusted. We again called the prop manager who told us we just needed to wait and that it would eventually work. After 2 hours, it was only getting hotter (thermostat 84). Eventually I walked around the house and discovered that there is no central A/C. This is common in Mountain Village; however, the thermostats and the advice from the property manager (that it would start working if we waited) made us think that there was A/C. Once i discovered the situation, we opened up all the windows & it cooled off later that evening- lamp fell off wall when we turned it on- hot tub is shared; listing made it look private- restaurant below plays music loudly all day

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Out place worked great for our group. Location was perfect. Easy walk to gondola and food literally right underneath us. I think the signage for the establishment could have been better. Some of our party arrived after dark and had a hard time reading the tiny sign on the door that said Blue Mesa. The parking situation could have been better advertised as well. There was only one garage spot which wasn’t clear in the description of our rental. A hot tub was advertised as well but again from the description of the unit it wasn’t advertised as shared so we thought we would stepping onto our deck and it would be there. Otherwise I would definitely recommend the unit.
