We really enjoyed our stay. The convenience to Lift 7 and town was great. We were a 10-15 minute walk to just about everywhere in town including the gondola. We traveled with another couple and wouldâve loved having a second parking spot, but it wasnât much of an inconvenience.
The property was perfect for our family ski trip.Walk to the ski lift, little bus going around town every 20 minutes. Grocery store right around the corner.Clean house, good kitchen, comfy beds and linens, and wonderful views from upstairs in main living area.We got so lucky to get 23â of snow while we were there, just awesome.Avantstay was so easy to work with, I appreciate everything!
We've stayed in Telluride many times before, and this property is in a great location with lots of space. The only downside (and this was a big one for us) was that upon entering the condo, we were met with a very strong stale, musty, foul odor. As if it had been closed up for quite some time. We opened all the windows and doors to air it out, but it wasn't enough. I bought a can of Lysol and used the entire can trying to freshen up the couches, bedding, stairways. It only marginally helped. The carpeting, rugs and all upholstered furniture could definitely use a deep cleaning.
Expensive for the lack of amenities. Shower heads not adequate. Carpets and furniture dirty. Outlets on back splash didnt work.
3 flights of stairs rough for those not accustomed to altitude. Minor detail but noteworthy. No cling wrap to wrap sandwiches for travel. Would have been nice. If you travel to other countries they bend over backwards ro accommodate. Shower soaps nice. Don't care about a free hat.
I was born in Telluride in the early 80s but itâs been decades since Iâve stayed a night in town. I took my family for a short vacation and absolutely loved the home we chose. Showing the family around the mountain and town was an incredible experience, and coming back each night to a true home made it that much better. We had such a great time we plan to make it a yearly trip! Thank you!
24 Owl Meadow proved to be the perfect getaway nest for my adult family members- ages 38 to 76. The premises were sparkly clean and fresh and comfortable. Its location was perfect. A quality grocery store was only blocks away. Lifts at the ski resort were a short walk away and had ski tickets, and equipment sales and rentals available right there. We had great dining experiences in both the town and mountain village. We would choose 24 Owl Meadow again if we find ourselves returning to Telluride.
We had a really nice time. Loved the location. Close to cross country skiing and close to chairlift 7 and quick walk to town. Grocery store right next door. Very clean and well appointed, comfortable. Hosts were
Very easy to communicate with and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.
Iâve been coming out west to ski for twenty years and this was the best ski condo Iâve ever stayed in. It had everything, the kitchen was amazing, washer & dryer, everyone had their own bathroom, Very clean, absolutely LOVED this place!
May not be the best for toddlers or younger children due to all the stairs, but location is great, the property was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated
The location of this condo was excellent: you can walk to Lift 7 and walk back once done skiing. (Be sure to use Telluride Trail to get down as it is a blue run.) Being able to walk to and from town for dinner or shopping was a great bonus; did it every night after skiing. The condo itself is large, yet had some issues upon arriving, it was almost impossible to get the code/door to work. Then the master bedroom did. not have a sheet on it!!!!! Just a cover sheet. Very bad! Especially during COVID!!! The closets were SO jammed full of pillows and blankets that we could not hang our clothes in the closet! That was true for both bedrooms on the middle floor. Then, there was the issue with very limited cooking utensils! Not well stocked at all! Disappointing to not be able to easily cook meals. Then there was the issue of broken things. That master bedroom door shades were funky at best. The moon shone directly in and woke us up. The other shade opens by drooping/puddling onto the floor. The towel bar couldnât hold one towel without falling down. And, the parking. Well, thatâs a whole
other story. Iâd say this unit is way overpriced for what it is. I have stayed at many, many places through VRBO! This one missed the mark for us!
Second time staying here. Perfect ski house. Lots of room upstairs and very light with the high ceilings and windows. Downstairs, there is plenty of room to store all the ski gear out of the way. The attached garage is a big plus. Both bedrooms on the middle floor are very comfortable and quiet. I will definitely stay here again.
I had a few questions and management responded timely. Check in and out was very simple! Having a garage was perfect.
Comfortable beds. Clean. Plenty of space. Great place. We would stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay. The property manager was flexible and communicated quickly and thoroughly. The unit is very nice and near everything you might need. Thanks!
Large, very comfortable condominium with all the amenities. Proximity to both the lifts and Clark's market meant i never had to use my car. Also, the private garage and large entry area on the first floor gave me plenty of space to store all my gear and wet ski clothes and boots. I would definitely stay here again.
