There was more than enough space for our group of seven friends to relax and enjoy a much-needed escape for three nights and four days. We made the most of our stay—playing games, soaking in the jacuzzi, gathering around the fire pit, cooking together, wine tasting, exploring Tin City, and capturing plenty of fun photos. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful home!

Had a great family weekend at this home. It's a little off the beaten path with a dusty road, but very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Hot tub is awesome!

We had a great stay at The Shire. The home is extremely well appointed. The setting is quiet and serene. We highly recommend this vacation home for your Paso vacay.

Fantastic graduation celebration!

The Shire was a wonderful escape and place to celebrate my son's Cal Poly graduation. It made the whole weekend so extra relaxing and brilliant!! All the wonderful touches made it feel like such a relaxing getaway!

The Shire is a beautiful place to gather with family, or friends. Communication with the host was great. Everything was outlined clearly. The house is very spacious and clean. AMAZING

We pulled up to the property at sunset and were blown away by the location and the house itself. The kids were so excited for their own little playhouse-we basically never saw them during our stay. The house itself was incredible. So spacious and well kept. It was as if we were at a private resort. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay. Beautiful home with stunning views. Only thing that could be better is the outdoor furniture. Wish there was a couch and cushioned seats around the fire pit. Other wise great place!!

Great stay

Loved the property. Comfy beds, very clean, well appointed. For the price, didn’t like having to start dishwasher, loss of towels and removing trash to dumpster which is not clearly visible. Had fun games to play, high chair and play pen/crib if needed. Great hot tub with towels. Plenty of hot water. Spices and coffee provided which is nice.

Perfect house for a getaway

We had such a great time at the Shire. The house is beautiful. Its a stunning location, quiet and the views a breathtaking. The house itself is really special. The attention to detail in every room is lovely and the house functioned really well for a party of 5 including my 86 year old mother-in-law. Our only regret is that we didn't spend enough time in the house. Can't wait to go back. Many thanks to the owner and the support team. Everything was perfect.

Amazing Stay!

This property has a great home design and plenty of amenities for everyone! I stayed here with my family, which included 2 grandparents, 3 parents, 4 kids (ages 9-12). The home had plenty of living and sleeping space for everyone to relax and hang out. The kitchen was perfectly designed for everyone to chat while also cooking, which was perfect as we were here during the Thanksgiving holiday. The dining room was also wonderful and easily sat the entire family. The hot tub was also a great place for everyone to relax after a long day of exploring and visiting the vineyards. Upon arrival, I had a couple of questions with the property manager, and they responded within minutes. Highly recommend!

Fabulous!

What an awesome home! I'm a neat freak, and this home did not disappoint. Clean, clean, clean. The home decor was tasteful and cozy. All of the beds and bedrooms are generous in size and super comfortable. We rented the home for my son's wedding at a nearby winery.. So many great memories were made! And the playhouse! We had 5 children ages 5 and under and it was an amazing hit! It allowed the adults to relax outside while they played. I would highly recommend this home and will definitely rebook when we are back in the area!

Perfect Family Vacation - Close to All!

The home was stunning, well maintained and spacious with plenty of room to spread out - inside and outside. Gathering in the expansive, open kitchen allowed us fun family times fixing meals and reviewing the day's activities together. Beautiful sunrises with breakfast out on the patio and sunset dinners around the firepit. (Check out the sunset from the balcony!) We did short hikes around the neighborhood and spied all kinds of wildlife, including deer right out the front door. The location was close to all our activities - ziplining, wine tasting, Paso's Tin City, the water park and a short breathtaking scenic drive to the beaches. The amenities were over the top and the attention to detail was much appreciated! The decor was so tasteful, and we were always finding conversation pieces around the home to share with each other. If you have small children, the playhouse is a hit - hours of fun! All ages were already talking about our next visit, and we will share this beautiful home with others.
