Don’t stay here

My stay at the Plymouth motor Lodge was horrendous. The linens were soiled stains on them. The bed made horrible noises the other the room smelled of cigarettes. The other tenants were openly using substances, as well as being extremely noisy. There was no way to contact hotel manager as the phone did not work. There was tar stains on the walls from the amount of cigarettes that had been smoked in the rooms with no attempt by the staff or manager to try to clean hairs all over the floor tub, sink, bedspread, etc.

The staff was rude on checking in. The room was unfinished patched walls and paint. Floor had duc tape on it. Sheets had cigarette burns and the room smelled terrible Overall was the worst experience ever for lodging The fire alarm was from 1985 and not working The pillows were prob older. The staff unpleasant unhelpful and rude Was not worth what I paid

Not unique. Staff not welcoming. Facilities were old, and worn, very few places to put baggage or other belongings, bedding cover with cigarette burns, linens appeared to be clean, but gray with age, thin pillows and blanket. Towels thin but clean. Bathroom sink without trap, rusty. Soap tiny, and bathroom vent covered with dust. Many light fixtures non-working, a lamp bulb not working. Air conditioner functioning but sticky from cigarette smoke. Floor noted with large tape to hold down flooring. This was noted as a non-smoking room. Room is on second floor stairs with narrow entrance, difficult to carry bags up to room. Stair area with dead leaves and spider webs. Also noted on stairs were various live bugs. McDonald’s near by,very clean, pleasant workers, and grocery store located close to sight. Surrounding area viewed to be rundown in general. I will not be utilizing their services again.

Between the sirens, the outdated decor, and the Duct Tape holding the floor together, we are less than satisfied with our stay. Check-in reminded me of a prison visit; we had to be "buzzed" in just to get to the "desk". Scared my GF so bad she wanted to leave immediately, but the lack of options forced our hand.

We needed a last minute place to crash after being at a party and the motel was just perfect. It's no five star resort, but it's clean and the beds are comfortable and we managed to get a good night's sleep. Will definitely be back as we visit the area from time to time.
