Relaxing place to stay!

A group of us from MN stayed here on a snowmobile trip. This house has plenty of room for your group to spread out and relax after a long fun day. Being close to Thayne is a bonus for groceries or whatever else you may need.

The house is great - plenty of space for a large family or group. Beautiful views and peaceful neighborhood. The house is extremely well-appointed and stocked - I was very surprised. Very comfortable beds and linens. Also a great selection of TV programming options. Would definitely stay there again and again.

Not trailer friendly

First things first the house is a 8/10 our only complaints come from the exterior of the home. So, if you do not have a trailer this does not apply to you. We rented the house because we were lead to believe it was trailer friendly / power sports friendly. When we pulled up google images it showed a large U shaped driveway and on the listing it shows snowmobile trailers in sideways. We found out while in route that the driveway only allowed 6 vehicles (only 1 hour before arrival). This made it extremely challenging to park trucks with trailers and stay out of the yard. The house is listed for max 16 guests. We only had 11 (two being children). Our vehicles included 5 trucks and 4 trailers. It took everything we could do to be in the driveway and because of HOA we cannot park in grass or on the street. This left us no room for unloading and room to park machines. This required us to trailer everyday so we could stage elsewhere. We had to shuffle trucks / trailers when going anywhere… aka someone was always in the way. We got extremely lucky that multiple people flew in and we did not have more vehicles. All this information would have been extremely helpful prior to traveling from the east coast. **I would include an image of parking diagram in the house but it doesn’t allow for pictures to be added. Again the house was well stocked, comfortable and a great overall stay. Our complaint is just with parking / exterior of the home. Hope it helps!

Beautiful view, a little toasty in daytime

We had enough space for our group at our family reunion. We loved the open space for games, meals and chat. We were there for a warm week and loved that the breezes at night were great and there were fans in the closets. We never used the hottub, but did lots of laundry and eating... Owner/manager got a package to us that was mailed to the address.

Great View & Tons of Room for All Ages

Loved it! Great area and plenty to do for all ages. The open floor plan and deck on the main level allowed for all of us (~12) to hang out with plenty of space. The kiddie loft and slide were a hit too with the children. Would definitely recommend!

Fun family home.

We had a lot of ages and places for them to hang out. The owner was very helpful. It was close to Jackson but a lot more affordable and beautiful. We had deer that slept under the neighbors deck. The hot tub was fun and the home lovely.

We loved our stay so much we plan on going back next year! The house was perfect for our big family (kids and grandkids). The guys enjoyed playing golf and there were so many things to do within 30 to 45 minutes from the house. The best part was getting away from the Texas heat.

Perfect setup for multiple families!

The floor plan was incredibly accommodating for our group of married children and their families. We had plenty of room to be together and for each family to have their own space. The huge deck was our favorite gathering spot.

Family fun under one roof!

This trip was a combination 50 year anniversary & every 2 year get together of us with our grown kids & grands. 16 total under on roof!! So much fun. Lots of common space for games, puzzles & talking. The 6 bedrooms was great to give every adult couple a room and also a girls & boys room. Kitchen was well stocked. We do wish there were a few more towels but there is a washer & 2 dryers to keep caught up. The upstairs ‘play loft’ was nice but it was pretty warm and the stairs up are dry steep, not good for real little ones to get up to play. Very quiet neighborhood & beautiful views. Lots of trails nearby. It was the perfect spot.

Family Getaway in Wyoming

We planned a family vacation in Wyoming, with all of us coming from different places to spend time together. There were 6 adults and 7 kids. Canyon Pines Retreat was so perfect. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have fun. While we loved exploring in Wyoming, we also really enjoyed just relaxing in the house (particularly on the amazing front deck!!!). There are some great hiking trails nearby, and the golf course is great too. The house is so incredibly well-equipped. The owner has thought of everything! There were toys for the kids, books for everyone, games, and so much more. The bedroom setup was perfect for our large group. The kids loved the 2 bunk rooms! The host is very responsive and helpful. She even offered up several recommendations for us during our stay, and addressed any issues right away (ex: the coffee maker was on the fritz, and she had a new one for us within just a couple of hours!). We are all so happy with the house and will definitely book again if we vacation in WY again in the near future! Thank you!

Beautiful view

The view from the deck is stunning! We did enjoy our stay very much. The only down side was we got this property to be close to the Teton national park but it was an hour and a half one way so that took alot of our time away to travel. Everything else was amazing!!

Wonderful stay at amazing home in Star Valley!!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this incredible home in Star Valley with our family. The home was located in a beautiful cabin community and was ideally located to visit Jackson and the Tetons! The home was so comfortable and fit our large family perfectly. We highly recommend staying here and we'll be back for sure!
