Welcome to The Back 9 Retreat, a peaceful and spacious 4,000 sq ft 4-season home tucked into the trees at Candle Lake. Backing near Hole 11 of the golf course and set on a quiet half-acre lot, this thoughtfully designed retreat offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway- from a private hot tub and wood sauna (Available 2026) to a fully equipped games and fitness space. Whether you’re gathering with family or enjoying a quiet escape with friends, this is a place to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature not a party destination.

You’re just 5 minutes from Waskateena Beach, yet tucked into the trees on a quiet street - making it a serene base for lake days, golf rounds, snowmobile trips, or cozy weekends in.

This is our family retreat, not a staged or fully curated short-term rental. You’ll notice personal items and everyday touches throughout the home - that’s part of the charm, and we kindly ask that these items be respected and left as you found them.

You’re welcome to make yourself at home and use items such as kitchen spices, oils, or pantry basics. If you use a significant amount of a consumable item, we ask that you replace it with an equivalent or let us know what’s running low so we can restock for ourselves and future guests. We will not be removing pantry items - if it offends you please don't book.

Looking for Dates? Please send a message we have it blocked off for dates while we figure out a schedule. We have a 5 night minimum. No pets allowed due to allergies.

Upstairs:
• Primary Suite: King bed, private office, ensuite bathroom with jetted tub, stand-up shower, double vanity
• Bedroom 2: King bed + 2 twin beds (one top bunk and one trundle that hides underneath the king bed)
• Bedroom 3: King bed + 2 twin beds (one top bunk and one trundle that hides underneath the king bed)
→ These two bedrooms are connected by a Jack & Jill bathroom

Main Floor:
• Bedroom 4: 2 Queen beds
→ Located just off the kitchen — perfect for guests who prefer no stairs (tighter layout)


Upstairs Game Room:

A dedicated space for all-ages fun, featuring:

What we affectionately call The Party Shack:

Please note: This building includes personal items but is fully accessible for guests. It’s heated via a cozy wood-burning fireplace (no running water) and includes:
• 2 wall-mounted TVs viewable from multiple angles
• Gym equipment: Dumbbells, treadmill, Smith machine, benches, bands, mats, and more
• 3 arcade machines
• Bar


Outdoor Living:
• Gazebo-covered hot tub with outdoor TV – perfect for bug-free soaking all year. This is not a guaranteed item. The hot tub is old and is not guaranteed to be immediately replaced if it goes down.
• BBQ, Blackstone griddle, smoker & pizza oven. Please bring your own pellets and clean the items after use.
• 50 amp hookup for RVs or electric vehicle charging. Please advise prior if planning to bring a camper
• Ice fishing shack available in winter (weather permitting) Must transport self to the shack. Request if snowmobiles or other is needed for an additional rental.

• Full kitchen with large island, double ovens, and plenty of prep space
