I would like to inform you that I have been traveling to the Netherlands mainly for business since 1980.
The first hotel I stayed in was the Marriott in Amsterdam. Since then I stayed in most of the major hotels in Amsterdam except the Amstel. The same for Rotterdam. My business took me sometime to small towns where I stayed in small but convenient hotels.
I arrived the day before yesterday intending to stay for two nights on my way back to Kuwait from Detroit but the charm of Leiden induced me to stay for two more days. Everybody we met in the hotel and the city was nice and polite except one receptionist I met her today at AM 11:50.
We were supposed to move to our new room in the new building. I went to the receptionist whose name is Noa and I am not sure about the spelling and asked when we can move to our new room and she or another girl answered your room is ready.
And I asked Noa what time I have to check out from my room and she replied at 12. So I told we need more time to pack. She insisted on 12. And I asked give at least until 12:30 and she replied no. And then after demand from me she said I will give you until 12:15. And we managed to check out at 12:25 and a nice girl checked us out.
I told Noa that even if you’re fully booked the room has to be available by PM 3:00. But she didn’t care.
But the most hurting was the way she was talking to me. She was talking to me as
