Overall the stay was good. Parking was an absolute nightmare however. We spent at least an hour and a half every day looking for parking. Otherwise it was great
Varun was a wonderful host and saw to it that everything went smoothly. He communicated efficiently and well and ensured my stay was comfortable. The apartment was clean, comfortable and perfect for what I needed for my stay in Kinsale! Definitely would recommend for a nice, quiet stay.
Great little spot, right in the heart of the town and on the footsteps to everything. I loved having a little kitchen to make some meals and snacks. Also awesome having a coffee shop immediately below! Parking lot being next door is also extremely handy.
Great location in center of town but still quiet. Parked car and walked everywhere for 2 days.
Spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Lovely coffee shop and courtyard underneath.
Host was very responsive. Would stay here again.
We loved staying here! Spacious, clean, cute. Everything you could need and you couldnât get a better location. Varun was very communicative and went above and beyond to help when needed. Weâll be back again.
The apartment itself was very nice... however the communication with the owner was not very accessible! Also, if you rent a car parking is extremely difficult! overall, the apartment was nice however I think next time I think I would stay at a hotel that offered parking
Stayed in apartment 4. Good location, especially liked the views and cafe below. The building and apartment are a little grubby and really needs a good clean and paint.
It doesnât get more convenient than staying at the Post House! We showed up hungry when we arrived and walked 10 steps across the street to Maxâs for the most delicious meal. Woke up thirsty for coffee the next morning and walked downstairs to the delightful coffee shop! We walked everywhere and we so delighted with the city as first-time visitors of Kinsale.
The unit was clean and updated. Having a kitchenette was great. Location was perfect. Unit did have cobwebs in it and courtyard which could have been a real asset was pretty bad.
Lovely location. Could be 5 star but was a bit dirty and rough around the edges. Kitchen had bare minimum with chipped plates and one pot and pan. Furniture tired, plastic chairs gave the apartment a tawdry feel.
With a bit of elbow grease ( clean the baseboards etc) and a bit of money invested this could be a real gem. Toiletries looked as though they were from the dollar store. Art work found in the roadside⊠Kinsale was lovely and the dirt and cheap furniture was no match for the charm of this little town.
Great position and very clean and well appointed apartment it the use of facilities eg shower and fan were very confusing. Wooden floors above meant we heard our âneighboursâ above walking around at night with squeaky floorboards and toilet visits
Varun the host was great and readily available with any questions we had and we appreciated that we were able to check-in early. There was a problem with the wi-fi initially but Varun went out of his way to get it fixed as soon as possible. The location was fantastic, walking distance to everything: pubs/restaurants grocery store, etc & a few minutes walk from the bus. Bedroom was a bit small but manageable, kitchen had everything we needed.
Decent enough place to stay. Definitely read the instructions to find it as itâs a bit hidden. A few hiccups on site but nothing that ruined our stay. Bring ear plugs as there is construction going on at the train station and I think a metal recycling place along the port so it got a bit noisy at weird times during the nite ear plugs solved that. No air conditioning and no fan so you will need the window open
Property was in a great location and easily walkable to everything. We were in apartment 1 and it was a good space for 2 people. The communication with the host was great and he was very responsive.
I would point out a couple things: you could hear every step of people walking in the apartment above, the shower very noisy due to having an individual water heater (but water was hot so that was great!), it was a little musty/humid since it was a garden level apartment, and parking was a challenge (had to pay every 2 hrs) but host helped us find street a short walk away to get free parking. Note that the pictures in the listing are for all apartments so you might want to ask which pictures go with the apartment youâre reserving.
