Deanna the front desk staff in the evening was very rude amd unprofessional. She kicked us out of the atrium before quiet time. We had a dinner for the men that had been staying in the hotel for a second week amd cake for a young man that turned three and our grandchild who turned 10. She stated we were breaking the rules. Which were not shared with us. Not a family friendly hotel.
Signs everywhere instruct guests on what to do. There's rarely anyone at the front desk, which is inconvenient for guests traveling and needing to check in, get assistance, etc.
It was a nice, basic room with hot breakfast. I almost called in to the desk about the noisy people in the halls, talking and slamming doors around 11:00pm but they settled down after awhile.
The staff was friendly and the breakfast was really good. However the HVAC was not working. The room was 61 degrees when we checked in and nothing we did would warm it up. The next day the room was 76 and we had it set for 72. Barely a trickle of air from the vent. We slept with windows open to try to regulate temp.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were treated as family. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast had many selections to choose from. Belgian waffles and mini waffles, options of breads to toast, eggs, sausage, cereal options, coffee and hot chocolate all day in the lobby.
