The house was amazing! There was so much to do in the house that we were able to just nestle in for the week and enjoy the time off and the scenery. The kitchen was great for all the cooking/baking we did.

My family and I had the best time at the Creek Side House. It is very obvious that the property manager Anne has taken very special attention to details in the home. I love love love the selection of music to listen to, from the nostalgic jukebox, the complete wall FULL of CD's, and tons of vinyl records! We were able to carefully wade in the shallow creek (at our own risk) and I did not feel unsafe with the creek water just a bit above my ankles. The sounds of the creek behind the house and the crickets chirping was a very soothing way to relax at night on the back deck or screened in porch. The hot tub was nice and in good condition. The basketball court right in front of the house is a good addition if there are kids or adults that want to shoot a few hoops. The pool table was a great addition downstairs as well, along with the jukebox, the basement has a classic '70's feel which I personally love. From the retro stained glass lamps above the pool table and one hanging in the corner, to the jukebox which was one of my favorite parts! The sound system was great, as well as the piano. Plenty of things to play with for fellow music lovers! The outdoors was beautiful. The house is at the end of a dead end street, a very private, wooded area along majority of the road. I will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Three Oaks Creek House. My husband and I brought 4 grandchildren ages 4 to 11 here for the week. This house did not disappoint. The kids loved the screen room, creek and of course the hot tub. We had an issue with the ac and Anne had someone over first thing in the morning. We enjoyed working with Anne and loved the peaceful tranquility of this home. I was hesitant about renting because the pics are not great quality, but this really is a beautiful home. We would definitely visit again.

Annual Girls Trip

This property and home was absolutely perfect for our large group of friends on our yearly trip together. We usually camp, but this year we had some Bachelorettes amongst us so we decided to step it up. We were all so thrilled with the woodland calmness outside, the music collection of vinyls and cds was broad and impressive, loved the sound system, and we laughed all night long in the game room. The weekend was perfect, lifelong memories made, delicious meals cooked in the kitchen (impressive spice rack as well, corriander and cloves?! Awesome!) and we would all like to wish extreme gratitude to our hosts for providing such a unique and amazing experience. Thank you thank you thank you. We loved it. 10/10 recommend. Would be pet and kid friendly as well, even though we had neither. The jacuzzi was divine. I could go on and on. Rent this location before its nabbed up!

Nice beach getaway!!!

The property was just as it stated. Very easy check in and great communication before, during and after our trip, even fielding my MANY questions. We loved the pool table and the jukebox and even though we didn't use any, there are THOUSANDS of CDs and SEVERAL DOZEN board/card games for your amusement if needed. We never used the hot tub as it was too hot outside but it was located about 5 steps off of the front porch and with the woods and no visible neighbors, privacy would not have been an issue.There are only a few minor tweaks that would make this a dream for anyone. There could be some landscaping/trimming done a few times a year that would make it more pleasing to the eye and probably alleviate some bug issues (it is by the woods so we knew there would be critters and we were fine with it). Also, with it being on septic, there are times when the aroma would overtake the air and make it tough to be outside. The back extra room which is not connected to house needs a small hole repaired in the wall so it could be used as an extra bedroom at night. We did lose power 3 times in first 2 days/nights although twice it was less than a minute. The other time it was out from midnight to about 8am. It's mother nature, and I work in the utility field so I COMPLETELY understand but with a well, you cannot flush toilets if you use them as there is no backup generator. Overall, I would recommend this property to others even without upgrades. Great owners to deal with!!!

Weekend Getaway

After my dad passed suddenly, I needed a place to escape for a couple days and the creek house delivered... We already had plans to come out this way for the weekend but changed our location to stay here, the setting was perfect. We enjoyed endless jams from the extensive CD and record collection, sitting on the back deck bird watching, drinking coffee and trying to befriend the little chipmunk that kept lurking. This house provides an amazing environment to just decompress, thank you for allowing us to enjoy your space.

The oasis!

House is fabulous, reminds me of a Frank Lloyd Wright house. Had a ball combing thru all the albums and cassettes. Love the patio on the back, saw so much wildlife just sitting there, peaceful and quiet. My fave was the screened room detached from the house but it needs a little work to keep possible critters out but it it very cool and unique! I would stay again. Slight disadvantage is hot tub is not close to house. Close to a lot of beaches, really nice beaches.

We loved this cozy house in the woods!!

The house is big and has a great layout for a family. The kids loved choosing the bigger rooms and as parents we were fine with that because we enjoyed the room with the attached bathroom and privacy across the house! We appreciated the alarm system so we knew when kids were coming and going more easily. There is plenty of space everywhere for any kind of fun you want to have. The kitchen is large and easy to move around in or find what you need. We enjoyed the creek in the back, the fire place, the hot tub, the pool table, and ate pizza every night from the local shop, Patellies! Thank you to Bob and Anne for a wonderful stay 💜

Perfect Weekend

We loved our stay at the Creek House. Check in was easy and host was very communicative! It felt tucked away but was so close to everything we wanted to do! 10 minutes from Four winds casino and Just 15 minutes from New Buffalo. kids loved the basketball hoop, pool table, and tennis court. Adults enjoyed the CD collection and the hot tub. We had a fabulous breakfast 5 min up the road and oaks eatery and another great brunch close by at Journeyman Distillery. We are already planning our return

Our Experience

There were a number of mouse traps around. The Jukebox would only play one song and then not work at all. We enjoyed the tennis court and creek. The music selection was excellent in the main room and the sleeping arrangements were good. We did enjoy the pool table. We took lots of walks and went to the small community that was only a mile away. One day we did drive over to the Lake and went on the Tree Tops walk. We liked the area very much and it was a good time for the family.
