The location was perfect, close to Three Rivers restaurants and it was less than a 10 minute drive to the entrance of Sequoia National Park. There was some great bird watching and beautiful views from the backyard and deck spaces. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. It was spacious and enjoyable for our group of 6 people ranging from 8-75 years old!
We had a wonderful stay at Johnâs place. It was close to Sequoia which we did for two days and in the evenings we played cards and watched movies. The kitchen was well stocked for our group of 8 and even had coffee and a few spices in the cabinet. The only thing we would have changed would have been to have a hot tub since it was too cold to swim but other than that it was perfect! Thanks Robin for being a great host!
Everything about our stay was five-star. Honestly, this was the best VRBO property weâve ever stayed at. The facilities were great, but all the little extras were there as well. Truly, above and beyond. NO negatives. None. Zero.
A beautiful home! Very spacious and photos do not do it justice. A large fully equipped kitchen with tons of dishes, silverware and cook wear. Everything you would need to prepare your own meals. All the beds were very comfortable! The home had beautiful details and we admired the artwork on the wallsâ very tasteful. The location was perfect to visit Sequoia Park-just four miles from the entrance gate. A very quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view from every room. And finally, the pool! It was quite warm when we were there and every afternoon was spent lounging poolside. It became the highlight of our afternoons and evenings. Canât recommend this property highly enough if youâre looking for a place to stay near Sequoia National Park.
John's Place couldn't have been better for our last-minute trip to Sequoia Nat'l Park. We stayed two nights. Robin was a great host. We enjoyed the privacy and serene neighborhood --- which is located very close to the park entrance. We came here with our two teenagers and our experience was outstanding. We had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the AC after long hot hikes. We hope we can return to see the Sequoias and stay here again.
Loved the location. The views of the mountains and the stars were amazing. Everything was great. Nice to have small things like extra bags for snacks on the mountain to toothpaste if you forgot it. Plenty of cookware and laundry too. Highly recommend!
Johnâs Place was a comfortable and well stocked home just outside the southern entrance to Sequoia NP. It was a perfect place to return to each evening after a day spent in the parks. We especially loved the pool and how great the communication was with Robin.
The check in process was smooth and Robin checked on us to make sure everything was set. We loved the location and the pool. The kitchen was huge and stocked with everything you could want. It was easy to find things. Robin was very accommodating and responded quickly to any requests we had. Thank you for a great stay.
House was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Robin was very nice. We spent hours in the pool after hiking Sequoia in the mornings. The views from the house and yard were amazing.
My family stayed at Johnâs Place from July 3-6 to celebrate my hubbyâs 60th birthday. From the moment I booked this place, which was a few months ago, I immediately receive an email from Robin who manages the property with a Welcome Letter and information about the property. Sheâs pretty awesome! My mother in law wanted to join us and knowing Johnâs Place can only accommodate 8 people, I talked to Robin to add one more person and said, âNo problem.â Our grandkids and kids love the place with lots of things to do but most of all, loved the pool! Would most definitely book this place again. Our grandkids begged to stay a little bit longer and did not want to leave. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathrooms. We all slept very well and the beds are comfortable. Went to Sequoia National Park for the day since itâs close. Markets are 10 minutes away if you need supplies. It was a wonderful home away from home and my husband enjoyed his birthday. Thank you Robin for being prompt with the communication. Johnâs Place is lovely! We all felt right at home and good vibes always.
John's Place was an amazing place for our group of 6 to stay in for the week we were visiting Sequoia. The house and decks are large, providing room to spread out. Everything was very clean and well stocked. The baskets in the bathrooms of commonly forgotten items was such a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the pool was a wonderful thing to have at the end of a day in the park. Plenty of birding opportunities too on the decks and porches. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone wanting to stay in Three Rivers.
Perfect location for visiting the national parks! Plenty of space for family of 4 or more! The pool was a nice place to relax after a day of exploring! Beautiful scenery and wildlife viewing. It's a bird haven. We especially enjoyed the deer that visited us by the pool!
We enjoyed our stay at John's Place very much. The property is remote, private, relaxing, spacious and much of the house is updated (while some areas/details need a little TLC). The views were breathtaking! We loved it, and wished we could stay longer.
This property was a perfect location for us to access Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. It was clean, quiet and had more than enough space for our family of five.
Great location & Family Friendly Place for Sequoia Nat'l Park
Our family of 7 stayed 3 nights to hike & visit Sequoia National Park & King's Canyon. This place had everything we needed for our stay. From plenty of toiletries to a full stocked kitchen. They have a nice pool, but we didnât have time to use it. We visited the park & enjoyed hikes while we were there. This home is very close to the park entrance. We ate all of our meals in, so we used the kitchen a lot. This place also has very nice views from the property.
My family stayed here for 4 nights as we explored the national parks. The house is located right outside the main entrance so getting into the park was easy. We enjoyed the mountain views and great house. We appreciated all the extra touches.
Hiking daily then come back cook and enjoy everything in the house. Great cookware, BBQ, hummingbird, flowers, and More...Go to the upper deck to see the stars and enjoy the wind.
We enjoyed our stay at Johnâs Place. Perfect location for our trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Very large house with a well equipped kitchen. Beautiful setting with views of the mountains. Multiple large decks. The town of Three Rivers has several very good restaurants and a small grocery store. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again.
Robin is a phenomenal property manager - super responsive and helpful. The house was immaculate and has such an incredible floor plan. Our kids enjoyed reading the books and playing some games as well as some time in the pool. We would most definitely stay here again.
