The property is exactly as described. It is cozy. It is clean. It is quiet. The town (Three Rivers) is a heartbeat away, and the entrance to Sequoia National Park is hardly much farther. We stayed for two nights and had a good night's sleep on both nights. The hosts, Chearl and Linda, provided clear instructions before we arrived and as we were about to leave. They stay in touch when you need them to and leave you alone otherwise. I would recommend the place without any reservations.
Beautiful first visit to sequoia! Great little spot with beautiful vista and great AC. Very easy check in and generous amenities available. Thank you for a great stay!
Our stay at the Cowboy Hideout exceeded all expectations. Chearl was a top notch host, and the setting within the horse ranch is simply stunning. We hope to return someday!
Our Cowboy's Hideout was a great place to stay for our visit to Sequoia National Park. There was plenty of space for us and our friends, and the back patio was perfect for hanging out and stargazing at night. The hosts were very communicative and answered all our questions promptly. I highly recommend staying here for if you're traveling with 2-4 people.
Friendly people, beautiful setting, and just what we needed for a week of activities divided between the Sierras and the Visalia area. The Hideout gave us all the space and quiet that we like. We really enjoyed breakfast on the deck, watching the morning sun light up the hills. Chearl has great communication. And if you are lucky, you might have the opportunity to have "experiences unique to a working house ranch"
This place so unique and cool. You literally sleep in the stables! Everything is as listed and more! We were given snacks and drinks - thank you! Highly recommend this place!
We had a great time, I went with my parents and they loved it. When I saw the pictures I was afraid that maybe it was going to have this old smell, but no. It was very nice and clean, it doesn't really feel old. Also they have a lot of amenities that we really appreciate. There's some people entering in the property to feed the animals but they don't invade your privacy. The bed it's very comfy, the sofa it's ok. I would go back for sure if I can and of course I would recommend it. :)
My only complaint is that we have to leave! We absolutely LOVED our stay here!! The horses were beautiful, the scenery was beautiful, everyone is so friendly and the Sequoia park is close. At night you hear frogs, crickets, horses and coyotes in the distance. The owners are super nice and friendly. I'll definitely be staying here again, I can't wait to come back,
The scenery was absolutely stunning, everything was lush and green, and the horses on the property were so cute! The host was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the massage was such a nice bonus. It is super close to Sequoia NP and many other hiking spots. Iâd definitely come back!
Exactly what we needed for our trip to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The space is cozy, little snacks provided, and the property is stunning!
This was a very unique stay. Arrived at night, woke up in the morning and peaked out the window to see 2 horses and a cow looking in my direction. Joy! If you like being around horses this is your place! You cannot pet them, but they will come over and say hello to you. Nice property and prompt communication by host.
This was a perfect little house for my family of 4. The property owner was very detailed on how to get to the house. Everything went seamless. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to go to Sequoia National Park. Great views!!!!
We had a fantastic time at the Cowboys Hideout. Chearl was accommodating, communicative and kind. The place was exactly what is shown on the website. Clean, hospitable and cozy. We loved walking around and seeing the horses. We will definitely be back.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Cowboys hideout. The location is beautiful and we really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property which made it a very easy and comfortable place to stay. Perfect for a trip to Sequoia National Park.
Location-wise, for access to Sequoia, this is prime real estate. The property is furnished as advertized, plus there was some peanut butter and jelly that we availed after learning that it was included. Bringing a lunch to see the big trees is a must!
Furthermore, this is a working horse ranch and we brought our Corgi! Let's just say that on our walks around the property, he was very interested in getting in to the pens with the horses and trying to herd them. He was leashed so that was prevented, but the horses were still friendly enough to come up and say hi and have their noses pet.
Delighted with our stay, we felt like we were living on a ranch and enjoyed the sight of the beautiful horses. Chearl was wonderful with response time and quite informative. Three Rivers was a cute small town which is conveniently close to Sequoia National Park. We were amazed to say the least and we canât wait to come back!
Highly recommended for a family trip to Sequoia NP!
My family and I came to Three Rivers for a trip to Sequoia National Park, and we had a wonderful stay at Chearl & Linda's place. The location is beautiful, on a horse ranch, and we walked the property to catch sight of the lovely animals and mountainous surroundings. The place itself stayed nice and cool, despite being over 100 degrees outside most days, with dedicated AC units in the living area and bedroom. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The extra snacks and drinks were much appreciated as well. Our hosts were so helpful and responsive as well. I would highly recommend Chearl & Linda's place to any family visiting the area!
The ranch is wonderful. Communication from the owners is excellent. The kitchen is great with lots of spices, snacks and even some water bottles. Views are beautiful and the horses on the property are adorable.
Chearl, the property owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We were very happy with our stay. Kitchen and frig well stocked with essentials. Very hospitable over all. Would definitely recommend.
Cute and spacious place tucked away from main road. Close to restaurants and small grocery store. Kitchen area was nice to prepare meals. It was also nice to have a separate bedroom in addition to pull out sofa in the living room, which was comfortable. Well air-conditioned-stayed cool in the hot summer. Very cozy. Enjoyed our stay!
