Absolutely loved the rustic feel of the cottage. It was so inviting, cozy and comfortable. It has a great view of the bay/ocean. The steps going down to the beach were manageable, but the last step has a big drop off onto large rocks and boulders that was a challenge to navigate.

Beautiful views but that's it. The room looked nothing like the pictures, it hadn't been deep cleaned in years and everything was in a state of disrepair. Crimey, stained furniture and carpet. Not worth the view, it's not a place you can come and relax at the end of the day. Would not stay again

This place has really gon down hill the last few years. It took over 45 minutes to check in. Booked a loft Suite with kitchen ended up with groung level basic bay front. First room we we're given wes not cleaned ended up with the one. After dinner tired,cold and wet the code didn't work. Waited for the poor lady at reception to get it fixed went to bed up stairs neighbors up all night. Shouldn't even had to worry about it because i book a loft. Wont be back

The maid staff stole from me and I bet they do it all the time No lock on the door Broken curtains
There’s a chain, but no lock
Had to put a towel right here so no one can peek in on me when I’m sleeping. Another room was just like this.

This is a cute little area. We only had an issue parking because we have a gigantic truck, otherwise we had no issues. There's a store around the corner that you can walk to to grab some things if you need it. The microwave and refrigerator where are we really needed so it worked out pretty well. Contact with the staff was easy which made our stay even more awesome. The view from the hotel is wonderful and the balcony is a perfect place to sip wine. I would stay here again if I'm in the area.

Nice location Good views and beach access. Nice towels but poor linen. Very dated. Bathroom not adequate. Toilet is way too close to wall on one side and wall in front. Need to sit side saddle. Light fixtures missing bulbs or not working when a good bulb is used. Several ceiling light fixtures with exposed bulbs.Had to move a lamp from the loft to the main room to get light in the room that was not the glaring ceiling light because the existing light did not work.  Upstairs bed loft has a rod that would be useful if there were hangers, but none. No place to put your clothes.  No night stands next to bed. Two trunks with lamps (could serve as a night stand if placed near the bed) were against a wall several feet from the foot of the bed. No remote for the TV. Had to figure out how to operate the controls on the back of the TV.  Wi - Fi is the slowest i have experienced in a decade.

Room did not appear to have been cleaned

I received the wrong door code and could not get into my room. Additionally, the number for the front desk was not posted anywhere although I did get a hold of someone through an alternate number online. Once I was let into my room it appeared that it hadn't been cleaned since the last guest. The bed did not have sheets on it and the sheets in the room appeared used. I ended up using my own blanket and pillow I had in my car. Not a good stay.

Great location and price! The property is a bit rough around the edges and could use an upgrade but it’s clean, the location is fantastic and the staff was very helpful while being unobtrusive. We stayed at one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking the ocean. There are steps down to the beach right outside the inn. And you can walk to the Schooner restaurant and a convenience store. Great for a quick, affordable beach getaway
