The House was a great place to stay, the view from the kitchen was wonderful and lots of interesting artefacts throughout the house to make for an enjoyable stay. Really great lay out in the house, plenty of seats and places to relax with family, the kitchen and pantry were well stocked with items you need and also things you wouldnât think to take, the host had thought of everything. The beds were really comfortable and having two bathrooms was a must for us as a family of 9, also well stocked with body wash shampoos & towels, basically everything you would need for a comfortable break away. James was the perfect host, with all the knowledge and information a plenty giving advice to places we could visit and places to eat, he even let us check in earlier due to our long trip down. I would strongly recommend staying at this house, we really enjoyed it. Thankyou
Old Chapel house, originally an 18th century ecclesiastical meeting house, sits on a large plot at the top of a quiet lane with a panoramic view of Tintagel and the coastline. The back garden is ideal for children of all ages, lots of space for ball games etc. The house is stylishly set out and well equipped --airy with lots of light and different spaces on the ground floor
We had the most amazing time in this beautiful house. It has everything you could possibly need & the beds are so comfortable! Would definitely recommend to friends & family
The garden is beautiful too & the sunsets are just amazing! Brilliant location too!
This is an amazing property. Full of charm and character with an outstanding view. We had amazing weather and watched the sunset every evening. It's a short walk into Tintagel and a good base for other local walks too. The house had everything we needed for a great holiday for all 8 of us plus our well behaved labrador. One son slept in the second lounge on the sofa bed and our daughter was on the floor in our room. The ground floor is mostly open plan but the space worked well for us . Greaybto have ncie bathrooms up stairs and downstairs.
Communication from James was great and it was lovely having milk bread eggs and butter waiting for us. We stopped on the way down at a supermarket in Launceston as the local shops don't stay open very late. The garden is large, secure and very pretty and is a fantastic space. We made use of the firepit and the great big patio. We would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you James for providing such a special holiday home. Many thanks ...
Even better than the listing described! Location is excellent for exploring beaches (close and afar). Decor of house is stunning, we didnât want to leave! Layout is excellent for large groups with bedrooms upstairs and downstairs offering different areas for dining, lounging, study and games. The garden is large and the outdoor eating space is lovely. The view (and sunset!) was an added bonus. Combination of historic house and updated kitchen and bathrooms was perfect. James was a great host, quick to respond. Iâm sure weâll be back!
