Very convenient location for hiking Oberg Mountain and going to activities at Lutsen. The hot tub was awesome after long hiking days. Bed was comfortable!
The patio door cannot be locked, the lock doesn't work, relying only on a wooden dowel for security. The patio screen is not attached to the frame. The bathroom faucet doesnt have a washer, therefore water sprays everywhere. Worst of all, the shower doesn't drain well, leaving ankle deep water before you're done showering. No pillow cases for extra pillows, and the blankets are not clean.
This condo was perfect for what we were looking for. A nice quick weekend getaway with a couple of views and experiences thrown in. It was especially nice to wake up to the sunrise overlooking the lake, as well as a nice relaxing fire in the fireplace to end our visit. The accommodations were perfect, and our hosts were incredibly responsive. Highly recommended
This place was exactly what my partner and I were looking for. We did day trips to hike on the SHT and then would come back to relax on the rocks of Lake Superior.
We have found out new place to stay on Lake Superior. I'm sure we have driven past this place dozens of times over the years but had no idea that a quaint and charming resort is nestled right there on the cliff. The view of the lake is truly stunning - we could even see the water from lying in bed. We enjoyed the walkout level and the stairs down to the water are not as daunting as they look online. You cannot hear the traffic from Hwy61 down at the waters edge - very peaceful to listen to the waves lap against the rocks. I wake up super early so I made coffee and went upstairs to the common area where there are comfortable chairs to watch the sunrise over the water. Ahhh, the big lake always brings big refreshment. We will be back!
Comfortable bed and cozy unit. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the sink was really low making it difficult to wash dishes. Also, the fridge had a hard time staying cold and dripped water over our food.
