Just a brief overnight stay on our drive to Alaska. Very clean and neat. Great decor and lots of little details. Basically like bed and breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if ever the need arose. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had.
This was perfect for a night. The room was mostly clean- there were cob webs on the light above the bathroom sink, however. I didn't appreciate showing up to a dark house. There was a porch light on a side door- so I tried to go in that door to no avail. I had to feel my way up the ramp to the door and then find a switch to turn on the porch light. I know it seems pretty, but that was very inconvenient to do while I was sliding around on ice and snow.
This property was not advertised as a B & B but really is. There was ample provisions for breakfast. The communication with the owner was far above average. Tok, Alaska is off the beaten path for most tourists, but has more to offer than many other areas. We enjoyed âWild Alaskaâ.
Pet friendly. Lovely property. Places to sit outside. Bikes and kayaks available. WiFi. Cabins on the property for individual use. I stayed in the main home with other people renting separate rooms. Still feels very safe. Lynx room has individual bathroom. Very clean building. Food available, coffee available, cooking supplies, etc. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.
This is a nice quiet getaway. Well maintained. I like that my private room had it's own bathroom. Breakfast was light but that worked for me since I'm in 'go-go' travel mode. I'd stay here again. I'll maybe try one of the cabins next time. Nice job guys!
Very quiet retreat 3 miles from Tok. Very well appointed. I was a bit concerned about no caretaker so far out from any civilization. If I had been without my husband, I would have felt a bit unsafe. Perhaps if you had a coded door where the door code was changed frequently? Other than that, very premium accommodations.
