It was a bit far from the station. Overall, the design of the hotel room was super cute and my room was super spacious. One thing that bothered me though was that there was period blood on the toilet(not on the seat itself). That did gross me out but other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Hotel MONday at Akihabara Asakusabashi is very conveniently located. Close to great landmarks either at walking distance or by train or bus. We like walking so pretty much everything we wanted to see on our last leg of the trip was around 20-30mins the furthest we could go by Uber at it was still around 20mins. The staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and having stayed at other hotels around Japan this one was one of the nicest ones considering most of them are small and maximize space. Don’t expect a suite with lots of walking space, just the necessary for a nice comfortable trip. Definitely will consider coming back when visiting Japan again next year. The area around the hotel has some nice eating options like izakayas, cafés, local “fast foods” and konbinis a few steps away and one on every other block. Didn’t try the breakfast but we did make use of the laundry room and their Eco-Friendly service which gives you a bottle of water per guest for every day that you don’t have your room cleaned out until the “mandatory” cleaning day. Wifi was fast so was also able to send heavy work projects without a problem. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

This was my first time visiting Japan, and staying at Hotel Monday Asakusabashi was great! The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the Asakusabashi train station (and 1 stop from nerf central - Akihabara!), which was a lifesaver in heat and humidity! The staff are multilingual, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful. They offered complimentary cooling towels to help with the heat and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. They helped me with a luggage forwarding service company—a game changer if you’re trying to travel light between cities. Highly recommend using it if needed! Amenities-wise, Hotel Monday offers a breakfast buffet (a mix of Japanese and Western options—tasty and satisfying), as well as laundry facilities for a small fee. Everything was clean and easy to use. I stayed in a standard double room, which was compact but cozy. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spotless. There was just enough space for me and my 1–2 pieces of luggage. If you’re traveling with someone else or have more bags, I’d suggest upgrading to a deluxe or family room for a bit more room. The bathroom was a highlight! Like many places in Japan, the bidet was next-level—heated seat, front and back wash, privacy sound features… honestly, I need one of these at home lol! And the deep soaking tub was incredible after a long day of walking. Great value and great vibes! Would stay again!

Great stay!

In a quiet area away from all the crazy city life. Was very relaxed to roam the back streets which led to the Akihabara district. Staff is super nice and friendly. Place is clean. Room was quite tight for our family of 3 but place is reasonably priced
