The family stayed at this hotel during the first half of our trip in Japan. The hotel was modern and clean and even offered free toiletries and supplies during your stay. The staff was friendly and spoke English well which made communication easy. They even helped us book our luggage transport to the next hotel in Kyoto. The breakfast buffet was great quality with many options. We loved the location - far enough away to be quiet but close enough to walk to restaurants/shops (711, Lawsons) and the Tsukiji Marketplace. Just around the corner was a delicious ramen place that closes at 3am for those late meals. Only thing that was challenging was the laundry - they only had 2 sets of washer/dryers (one broke down during the stay) which created lines to wash clothes. Otherwise love the location and hotel.
Nice comfortable cozy room! Local Japanese speaking staff members were pleasant and helpful to English speaking guests. Nearby little Indian restaurant Sitara had wonderful food 🙂

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The rooms are extra small and not very comfortable. The staff is friendly, and the location is not the best but is somehow close to Ginza. There is very limited dining around the area
The location was good, as the area was quiet but close enough to a subway station for touring Tokyo. The property was clean, and the separate room for the bidet was helpful having 4 people in one room. The breakfast buffet was okay, but not a lot of options for children, considering the price. The staff seemed bothered when we needed assistance, but they did provide good service. The hotel was clean and adequate.
I’ll start by saying I’m not a complainer. But a few things should be noted about a hotel in Tokyo.
1. Staff at front desk were not helpful and some were actually unfriendly. This is strange. I’ve been to Japan many times and the front desk is usually OVER THE TOP nice (I just checked into the Village Kyoto and the front staff was fabulous and were so kind). For instance - my kids had a separate room and couldn’t find their key. I asked front for another key. The front desk said rudely (only 2 key per room - NO). I told them I can’t get in my room so they need to give me another. She argued again and said “2 keys per room”. I told her I will bring it back - just give me a key temporarily. She finally relented. I thought where are we Motel 6?
2. Always were typically scattered with a lot of crazy bags and housekeeping items in the morning. I would think there would be a more orderly way in Cleaner away for the maids to do their business without scattering bags all over the hallways. It look like a lot of the floors, especially on floor three where the washer was wasn’t vacuumed in a long time.
3. Breakfast - not great. Limited items. Coffee needs to be better.
4. Rooms - fine for Japan. Small. I ended up getting three rooms (2 for my kid’s and one for my wife and I) You think after spending so much money on the rooms with a hotel they could at least give me an extra key. Housemaid staff are very nice.
5. Location - outer part of Ginza.
