Adorable apartment in a great location! Itâs close to everything! Kitchen was stocked with everything you need. One drawback is only having a window unit AC - its on the opposite end from the bedroom. Thereâs a fan in the bedroom, and although it helps a little, bedroom gets warm at night. Parking spot is rocky with lots of sticks and weeds. Not ideal for someone who walks with assistance or is unsteady on their feet.
Our family was greeted with a cleanly and organized space! Perfect size for 2-3 people, and great location too. We walked downtown and had a great time.
The unit is one of the apartments within the small complex. I could hear the people above us laughing and walking around. It was nice having a designated spot to park, but looking around the exterior, it needed a lot of attention. I don't know if it's just that way from winter or if it's always that way, but it didn't appear to be very well maintained with a lot of overgrowth evident. There is potential there for it to be really cute and blend in better with the nice homes that surrounded the property. The interior was cute, small, but worked for our purposes. We had a few concerns upon arrival that were quickly addressed by the property manager, which we appreciated. Honestly, it could use a deep clean, they seem to do surface cleaning, but not real cleaning (the radiators were caked with dirt, cobwebs in the corners, the shower hose was orange from mildew...). For the price, it was basically what we expected and worked fine for the weekend.
The property was amazing! I booked to see my friends during a busy weekend (St. Patrickâs Day weekend) and through all of the hustle and bustle around the town I was able to retreat to a quiet place without feeling like Iâm walking entirely across the city. Excellent communication with the host, will definitely aim to book this property my next visit!
This was perfect for us. We enjoyed the ability to walk to town and the BGSU campus. The apartment had all of the amenities we needed in an ideal location to take in the area. Would recommend, and would stay again. Thanks for as fun weekend!
Good location and clean, the flat itself is mostly unremarkable, awkward access.
In regards to nearby amenities I found the location to be satisfactory, however access to the apartment was slightly incommodious.
The inside is small, but clean. I found the bed and couch more than adequate and the apartment was clutter free. However, the shower was less than desirable. The kitchen was mostly sufficient, but the cutlery and associated accoutrements were substandard; bring your own knife(s)/cutting board if you plan to make a good meal, couldn't find a cleaning sponge either. Only a few windows (I did not try them all) would open, one of which showed signs of black mold around the casing--which is understandable considering the lack of an climate control/HVAC system. The blinds are not black-out nor do they inspire total privacy.
For the most part the neighborhood was clean and quiet. However, the last afternoon/early evening of my 4 day stay the student housing directly across the small yard was obnoxious enough to send me packing for other accommodations; a first for me while visiting any sort-term rental location.
There was no guestbook so you might need to ping your host (they were quick to respond) for information.
Overall the Falcon's Corner Retreat was an oaky stay. However, next time I'll find a "cozier" location.
