The only thing we found weird was we requested a accessible room. They put us on 2nd floor clear to the end of the hall, next to stairs, plus no ice or vending machine on 2nd floor, but only on 1st and 3rd floor. In case of a fire, a handicapped couldn’t be able to go down the stairs.. everything was clean.

The room was clean. The bathroom door was locked when we arrived and had to figure out how to unlock it. The room we had was very poorly insulated. We could hear everything in the lobby; the sliding doors constantly opening and shutting and people talking. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and clean.

The staff was amazing. I was caring for my sister after surgery. They gave me a room on the bottom floor and helped find me a second night stand to make things easier for us. Very nice and accommodating. Will be stayed again shortly!

The locking mechanism for our room was not working. We had to lug our bags up & down twice. Both times the key didn't work. The elevator was slow so i called the front desk. She was prompt & courteous & came right up to us to try a master key. If failed. I had to go to the desk a 3rd time to receive keys to another room. Apparently another room on that floor had a similar issue & the door was propped open. Staff member told us this! Made us fearful of getting locked in or out of our next room. I don't recommend this hotel.

Checked in to be told there is a $150 incidental charge. Front desk was nice and polite. I entered my room to a blast of heat. Checked the thermostat and it was set to 68. It was at least 80 in the room. Ended up turning it off because even at low setting (60) it was too hot. Went to front desk and there was no offer to change rooms or any resolution whatsoever. Let alone actually fixing it. Lock malfunctioned and needed to get front desk assistance. Problem was not fixed. He jimmied it once and I had to leave it open when I left my room briefly. He was also rude like he couldn’t be bothered. Shower mixing valve was sticking and was difficult to get water to temperature. Was hot or cold. Will not return and may avoid any Choice brand hotel at this point.
