Overall, the stay was fantastic. The Royal York is one of my favorites. Unfortunately there was an incident on my floor, where an intoxicated couple were having a very aggressive and abusive domestic Argument/incident which went on for quite some time before hotel security dealt with the problem. I would’ve thought the hotel would’ve offered some sort of compensation or refund as it was quite a shocking incident that went on for quite a while.

I love that this hotel is across the street from Union Station making it very convenient to get around downtown. It is also within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and attractions downtown as well. Staff are fantastic, check in and out were a breeze! But the best part is that if you are staying at the hotel you can store your luggage before and after your stay making it much more relaxing and easier to navigate the city if you have plans to visit any attractions. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Fairmont Gold Is the Best

We are in love with the Royal York. We travel by train, so location is ideal. It's also walking distance to Rogers Center. The hotel is beautiful, and the service is excellent. We stay in the Fairmont Gold suites. The Gold Lounge is beyond wonderful. The rooms are amazing.
