We found a couple of things that were not as expected. We stayed an extra night due to weather conditions and I was asked to put my credit card through twice so a cleaning deposit could be taken when I booked the second night. But this meant I put my credit card through for this function three times in total. When I asked the host at the desk, he couldnt' answer why I had been asked me to do that twice the day before. I'm still not sure if I'm going to get all of my deposits back, because it seems as if they charged me for three and not two cleaning deposits. In any case, the transaction left me confused and ill at ease. In the room, there was an ice bucket, but there were no glasses other than plastic cups. Once you are old enough for drinking not to be a novelty anymore, you do not relish drinking wine from plastic throwaway cups. There were no extra blankets in the room and the room ran on the cold side - although once we called down for a blanket, two were very quickly brought up to the room. The hotel itself was very clean, and very nice for a short stay. Chandini, a staff member in the restaurant was extremely friendly and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we might need, even without our asking. She was quite wonderful.

I walked into my room and a waft of chemical apple scented cleaner was all through the room. I was surprised. With people being more and more health conscious and people having lots of allergies, I was very surprised. I called the front desk and said that I wanted another room that didn’t have this smell in it. They told me that I had to request ahead of time because every room gets sprayed. Everything was clean. It was a comfortable room. But because of the chemicals being sprayed in it, I would never stay here again.

Room was fine, but it's an older hotel and room style, has localized heating/cooling. Pretty thin walls. Probably best for an overnight stay or if you're not going to be there. Pool looked sort of ok, didn't use it though. Breakfast buffet is average, and definitely would not pay $22 for it. Front desk very courteously comp'd us for the breakfast, was unexpected. Staff in general are nice.
