Parking situation is not ideal as hotel has no dedicated parking. Was 10 minutes over time and got a ticket. Staff was not helpful in providing directions for parking. Front desk staff was not helpful when I had questions either. Overall wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

My stay at the Rui Hotel Toronto was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, every part of the experience exceeded my expectations. Check-in was seamless, and the guest service team set the tone with their warm, professional welcome. The doorman and concierge were consistently gracious and attentive, always greeting me with a smile and making me feel truly valued every time I entered the hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully appointed — a perfect retreat after a long day. Breakfast was equally impressive, offering both quality and variety that made every morning a pleasure. What stood out most was the service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Their genuine hospitality made me feel at home, and I cannot say enough about how well I was treated. I highly recommend Rui Hotel Toronto and will absolutely return on my next visit. An unforgettable experience!

One of the best hotels in Toronto. Staff are friendly and hotel is clean/modern. Most amenities are available except for onsite parking. A bonus would have been discounted rates at the nearby underground parking.

Hotel is in a great location just off King St. Small but nice lobby. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Be aware, the rooms are quite small but modern and comfortable. Had an issue with the TV they couldn't fix but I will stay there again on future visits.

Room was perfect - we note that check out is 12pm but at 10am we already had housekeeping asking us when we were going to leave. Breakfast was good but overstuffed - waiters were hovering waiting for you to put something down and then take it.

You are missing out if you haven’t stayed at one of these hotels. We felt as though we were on a resort the entire time. Staff were always available to answer any questions and respond swiftly. This was a perfect place to stay in downtown Toronto. Will stay here again.

I loved this hotel. Food, service and staff were excellent. However, I gave it a four not five star rating for one simple reason. I don't understand why hotels install lifts that just before they arrive make a sound like Big Ben chiming on New Years Eve (I'm from England). The noise was far too loud. People aren't stupid. They know the lift has arrived when the doors open! My room was near the lift and I'm a light sleeper. I had three nights of broken sleep. No fun 😣.
