Hotel was amazing. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Location is ideal for most tourist spots. A lot of restaurants within walking distance (5min or less). Room was clean and spacious.

The hotel was excellent in terms of conditions, I understand it opened only recently. Breakfast was included and had a great range of food and drinks. All staff were friendly and the hotel was within walking distance of the tourist areas. One issue was a lack of flexibility with bag storage. We hoped to leave bags for 48 hours as we planned a trip to Montreal and were returning to the hotel, unfortunately that request was declined which meant added hassle.

Rui new hotel in downtown core , great location and staff. Only issue I had during checking in booked via Hotel.com received booking confirmation however reception said there was no booking. Waited over 45 mins to try and resolve no luck. Eventually got a room but dissatisfied with Riu external services. I realize it’s new hotel still working out gaps in process . The breakfast is good and thanks to Feona who did her best to resolve the issue.

It's a nice location, and clearly new and well-designed. The staff at the entrance were friendly, however the staff at the front desk were appalling. Their excuse is "we've only been open for a few weeks", yet I'm sure they all have hospitality experience and aren't all brand new to the profession. They hide behind "policy", yet the policy says otherwise- no kindness, no empathy, no trying to help the customer. It's like talking to a brick wall. They may not care about treating customers kindly, yet I'm sure their managers and the hotel owners would care if they heard what happened. The cleaning staff walked into my room despite having the "do not disturb" sign up (at around midday) because she wanted to do my room. Sorry that the customer is messing up her schedule and what she wants to do! I've never ever stayed at a hotel (or hostel!) where a staff member just walked in with the sign up. I had just got out of the shower too- can you imagine if I hadn't heard the door opening and I was in the shower?! They also left cleaning supplies in my room, and guess what?! When I tried to ring the front desk (twice!) to get someone to retrieve them, no one turned up to take them back. It's a pity because the location is great and they could have seen A LOT of business from the company I work for (which has global, BIG clients). Yet as I said, the employees may not care, but I'm sure the bosses and the ones who sign the paycheques would...

Excellent staff at this hotel! I wish the bathrooms had bathtubs as I have chronic pain. Bed was a little uncomfortable but the room was very clean and has everything I needed. The staff were all extremely helpful and nice, I appreciated that I could leave my bag here for part of the day as I was at a conference and didn’t want to carry my bags around all day. Great place!

Hotel is new and very clean. There are hotel staff everywhere. It would be nice to be told your roomkey needs to bw inserted inside room to activate any electricity. (Lights/heat/ac) Rooms are compact, but completely workable. Well thought out to provide room within a small space.
