NOT a deluxe luxury home.
The exterior property and location are good and the host was very responsive and helpful. The issue is the lack of care by the owners to provide basic things like hangars in the bedrooms, a place to put your clothes and the pillows besides on your suitcase or on the floor. Also amenities like soap, towels, etc. were mainly previous guest leftovers. The home needs a full thorough cleaning, and regular cleaning after that. Not just the obvious basic surface cleaning performed. Just look in the kitchen drawers or under the bed. Remnants of many other guests are prevalent throughout. Games room is archaic. Only master has side tables and bedside lamps. All other rooms have dollar store battery operated side table lights only, or just blaring ceiling lights only. Main living room lighting is all lights on in an area or none. No dimming, just blaring light. Furniture is in need of updating. The garage is full of old horrible junk, so had to park 2nd car on the street, where I registered for a free pass (recommended by owner) and received a 65 parking ticket anyway.This is not a luxury home. It may at one time have been, but now appears like a bunch of frat kids are running the upkeep and maintenance now, on a very cheap budget trying to save every nickel and charging more than they should get for this home. I will be requesting to Vrbo directly to have the home downgraded, if this is the type of care extended by the hosts to guests.
