The rooms are cold and heating doesn’t work. The rooms on level 6 are painfully loud as the buffet is the floor above and you can hear chairs scraping along the floor continually through the night. The last noise I heard was 2:16 am. I was refused breakfast on the last morning - I turned up at 0700 rather than 0730 which I booked as an exam I was taking was earlier than planned. Despite 20+ people already being at breakfast and eating I was told to come back later which was not an option. Would not recommend and I will not be back.

Reception staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was very clean and bright, with a small balcony overlooking a small park. The hotel offers a selection of outdoor seating areas, as well as a pool and gym.

Food was amazing. Really recommend getting the half board option, amazing value and choice. Will need to go on a diet now I’m back. Helpful staff ands good rooms. Only negative would be the spa. Not a good experience, seems like it hasn’t been used for a while and needed work so wouldn’t recommend paying to use it.

Hotel has had a slight refurb in the last year, this has much improved the lobby area with a much more attractive bar area and terrace. Unfortunately much more to be done and the lifts are still very slow between floors which was frustrating. The housekeeping was good and the housekeeping staff very friendly. Did not use the Spa, the hotels location is convenient for the town and beach. We were given an early check in which we greatly appreciated after a very early flight.

A 3 star not a 4 star hotel

I never stayed in a 4 star hotel where a have to pay to use the pool towels, here were finger prints on the walls, poor wi-fi signal, one paper cup per stay( no glass), no toilet tissue holder and an enclosed balcoly looking at a rusted staircase.

Hotel was lovely and in a great location, food was good, only negative is hotel didn't replace coffee sachets during my stay in my room. A little cheap after paying good money to stay.

I spent a lot of time researching hotels in Torremolinos and I learned that it really depends on what you plan to do in Torremolinos. For me this hotel was the perfect blend of beach time in the day and going out in the town to the bars at night. As they say location, location, location! This location is the perfect combination. The gentleman that works the reception in the evenings was incredibly helpful in answering my questions. I used the spa for a day and that was a nice perk. The gym is fair, nothing fancy but they do have one. The buffet for dinner had a great selection. My room was very clean and roomy. And the view from lookout on floor H was fantastic! The hotel was quiet, safe and comfortable. I will definitely return to Torremolinos someday and I will plan to stay at Hotel Fenix again. Great hotel!
