Our beautiful bungalow in the typical architecture of the country is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the middle of the holiday resort Santa Caterina, a small, tranquil complex right between the charming town Torroella de Montgri (3 km) and the more lively seaside resort L'Estartit (3 km).
The house has a large living/dining room with direct access to the kitchen and exit to the main terrace, three north facing double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, a bathroom with WC and bathtub, a bathroom with WC and shower, a garage which is used as a storeroom and two parking spaces on the property. Also in the garage you will find a charger for your electric car with 3,64 kWh. It is connected to our solar installation and can be used by you after previous agreement (attention: additional costs depending on electricity consumption).
The extensively equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and has a ceramic glass cooktop with oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, Senseo coffee machine, milk frother, electric kettle, toaster, blender. In summer time you can use our two airconditions. For the colder months of the year there is a wood-burning stove and electric heating. For entertainment, we have provided free WLAN, a television and a Bluetooth box.In the spacious former garage there is a washing machine, dryer, freezer and iron, as well as a practical wardrobe with shoe rack for more order in the living rooms. Also in the garage you will find a charger for your electric car with 3,64 kWh. It is connected to our solar installation and can be used with your own charging cable Type 2 after previous agreement (attention: additional costs depending on electricity consumption).
For small children a high chair and a travel cot can be used.
From the living/dining area you reach the large wind- and sun-protected main terrace with a large table and seating for 6 persons. Another protected terrace with four sun beds is behind the house, as is our barbecue area with bar and a large electric grill on a wooden terrace. The highlight of the house is our spacious roof terrace, open in all directions, with further attractive seating and a wonderful view of the nature reserve of the Montgri mountains as far as the Iles des Medes.
The originally designed community pool with outdoor shower is located in the middle of a large, well-kept lawn only 30 m from the house.
The city beach of L'Estartit can be reached after 3 km, to the beginning of the many kilometres long sandy beach between Els Griells and Pals it is 3,5 km. You can start wonderful walks and mountain bike tours directly from the house: through the pine covered dune area between L'Escala and L'Estartit, over an exciting rock path high to the medieval Castell de Montgri or down to several cliff paths to tranquil bays at the foothills of the Montgri mountains.Important sights of the Empordà are not more than half an hour away: the charming little town of Begur, medieval Pals, the Roman excavation site Empúries, Figueres with the most famous Dalí museum, etc.; to Cadaqués it is 66 km, to Girona approx. 37 km. Girona airport is about 45 minutes away, Barcelona airport 150 km, Perpignan airport 101 km. The nearest train station is 21 km away (Flaçà) and can easily be reached by bus (approx. 300 m on foot from the house).

Family holiday

Great house with everything you could possibly need. Lovely location on edge of town, very quiet. Outside space was private and spacious, the roof terrace was also wonderful to see the sunsets from. The pool (we only used one) was clean and not ever busy. The owner was very responsive to any questions and queries both before booking and during out holiday. The only small negative was the late check in time of 5pm - very late by usual standards when check out is 10am. Fortunately we did manage to get in a bit earlier as we driven overnight from the UK and we were exhausted but this wasn't guaranteed. L'Estartit is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and a beautiful beach that goes on for miles. Over all a great property that we would happily stay at again

Alles super!Bei der Sauberkeit z.B. Duschvorhang und Besteck ist noch Potential nach oben.Bei 2 Wochen Buchung wären per default ein zweiter Satz Badehandtücher nach einer Woche eine nette Geste.Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war überaus positiv, wertschätzend und konstruktiv.

Zeer nette, ruime en comfortabele woning

Heerlijke vakantie gehad mede door dit fijne huis in een rustige wijk met andere vakantiewoningen. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles was aanwezig. Droger, wasmachine, vaatwasser. Gewoon koffiezetapparaat en Senseo apparaat. Zelfs een melkopschuimer. Ook 2 fietsen konden evt. worden gebruikt. Top! Zou zo weer teruggaan. Zwembaden vlakbij. Netjes onderhouden.
